Earphone-12, an in-ear headphone which was launched by XTZ this year, and also it is a higher cost-effective product. Although less than 1000RMB, it is already quite cheap for earphone enthusiasts. In fact, what I am concerned about is not the price, but the performance of this brand earphone with this price range. And also, the manufacturer, XTZ, constantly highlight that this earphone must work together with XTZ player software, so there is no doubt to use iPhone as sound source. Regarding to Music, my taste is various, those are songful to me is acceptable.Usually, I use the original earphone of mobilephone, and also an old version MX300 earphone which are entry level. So, that is easily become the comparison with each other. Compared with above models, Earphone-12 creates clearly wider range of sound in middle frequency and better performance in cohesion of sound and provides more information and give more smooth and soft sound. And also, it sounds not stiff, but widened much at once. It shows unprecedented performance on sound details and texture, the voice thickness is not only moderate, but also full of vigor, this makes you exciting from depressing.

To be hypercritical, Earphone-12 is a little bit far away from my own requirement on low frequency style. Earphone do not focus on strength by itself, but it is full of sense of thick bass,the low frequency sounds not vigorous, volume is not rich, this will not be suitable for those prefer symphony music and heavy bass rock music. However, according to their official report, the accessory rubber case can be functioned to adjust the low frequency, bigger rubber cased needed if you want to get more rich low frequency. So, I followed the official suggestion to change a bigger rubber case, the volume of low frequency increased relatively, it sounds more thick and flexible. Compared with previous one without rubber case, it sounds richer and more plump, what’s more, the sound is more balanced.

After nearly one month audition to Earphone-12,I couldn’t find any other earphone can be comparable with it on sound smoothness,softness and sense of width. It is a good choice to listen to music while you are on the train or subway. In addition, I strongly recommending to use the Maximum rubber case while listening to music, this will makes the sound much more rich, smooth and balanced.
