Pathological Society Winter School

Monday 5th – Friday 9th February 2018

Doubletree by Hilton, Victoria

This long-standing and well renowned course is aimed at Specialist Trainees in Histopathology from years ST2-5 and is based around sessions discussing cases that have been viewed by delegates prior to the course. The cases are selected by the speakers as educationally valuable cases with the FRCPath Part 2 in mind. All delegates are sent a box of slides of the cases prior to the course which they can keep as a valuable revision resource; some of the cases are also scanned and can be accessed using this medium before and after the course.

The course programme runs in three yearly cycles over which time much of the core curriculum for Histopathology training will be covered.

Emphasis will also be placed on the role of routine molecular diagnostics in these cases.

The programme will include:

1.  Pre-course access to cases in the form of both slide sets, which delegates keep, as well as on-line access to cases and to the lectures after the course.
