Test Microphone Operability
· Right-click on speaker icon in system tray and select “adjust audio properties” then select “voice” tab
· Click the Test Hardware button and follow the on-screen directions.
· If there’s no speaker icon in system tray, then:
o Go To: Settings > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Volume and select “place volume icon in the taskbar”, “apply” and “ok”
*Adjust master volume and other settings by right-clicking on speaker icon and select “open volume control” and change settings
Open StarBoard Software
o Starboard > Mode > Accessories > Screen Record
o Click, hold, drag and drop on toolbar for easy access
Start/Stop Buttons = Start or stop screen recording.
o The Start button shows a red circle when recording is not in progress.
o Pushing the Start button starts recording.
o During recording the button shows a blue square.
o To stop recording press this button again.
Pause/Resume Button = Pause or resume screen recording.
Recording Options Button = Open the Recording options dialogue.
This button is disabled when recording is in progress.
In the Save As dialogue box beginning at the top:
· Save In: Select desired location
· File Name: Change name to appropriate title for easy reference
· Click Save
Upload Screen Record File to your Library Website
1. Log into NetStart Class--www.classroom.kleinisd.net
2. Click “Add More Pages”
3. Page Type: Download
4. Page Name: Screen Record
5. Click “Add to My Site”
6. Click “Continue”
7. Select the radio button for the Screen Record page
8. Select “Properties”
9. Check “Exclude this Web Page”
10. Click “Submit”
11. Select Layout 1
12. Click Upload in Content Area 1
13. Browse to find ScreenRecord.wmv file and select Open
14. Click “Begin Upload”
15. Save Changes and Preview
