Geologic Time Scale RAFTS
For this assignment you will be given a task based on your learning preference. All tasks are to be completed for the ASSIGNED geologic era. If pre-approved, you may change your format, topic or audience but not your geologic era. You may use I Pad or your spreadsheet to obtain the information required. You will be presenting your assignment in a 1-3 min presentation. All assignments must be in written form, but may be presented in any format.
Concentrate on changes in organisms (life), changes in climate, and changes in land masses. Be sure to use examples unique to each era.

A song about the Hadean begins the show,
spans from 4.5 to 3.8 billion years ago.
The solar system forms out of dust and gas,
it forms in 10 billion years, boy that’s fast.
Something on the horizon, man that’s bright,
finally the sun is giving off light.
The moon is closer and appears huge in size,
today a moon so big would cause massive tides.
No ozone layer to block out the sun,
even with SPF 100 you’d be well overdone
No oxygen, can’t light a fire,
nothing can live in a place this dire.
The earth is made out of magma too hot to explore,
Iron is heavy and sinks to form the core.
Slowly lava cools to form solid blocks,
this will form the Craton, made of metamorphic and igneous rocks.
In the fossil record, nothing is listed
during this time nothing living existed.
