Re:League Cross Country Championship Meet

The Southern Worcester County League Cross Country Meet will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Webster Memorial Park in Webster. The varsity course length is 3.1 miles and the JV/JH course is 1.799 miles. Course consists of starting and finishing in the parking area and a trail section. Maps are attached and will be available meet day.

The race schedule is as follows:

2:00 pm - Boy’s Varsity Race (maximum school entry is 7 runners).

2:30 pm – Girl’s Varsity Race (maximum school entry is 7 runners).

3:00pm – Boy’s and Girl’s combined Junior Varsity Race (no limits).

3:20pm – Boy’s Junior High Race (no limits).

3:40pm –Girl’s Junior High Race (no limits).

1) The course is available for walking after 12:00pm on race day. Please don’t arrive earlier.

2) Busses will park in the lot to the right of the start/finish line area. Parents will park in the area to the left of the finish line.

3) All awards will be presented at the conclusion of the near the finish line area.

4) There are NO indoor dressing facilities so plan accordingly. Teams should bring their own ice and water.

5) Coaches may be asked to assist at checkpoints along the course if needed.

6) In case of bad weather, I will consult with John Doldoorian (Oxford A.D.) at 10:30am and we will call the schools only if it is to be postponed. Please do not call us. Rain Date will be Friday October 29th.

Varsity awards will be team champion trophy – trophy for each male and female winner – medals for 2nd thru 10th places in each varsity race – ribbons for top 10 males and top 10 females in JV and JH Races.

There is no need to declare your varsity runners, they will be the 7 you run in the race, all others will be JV.

Please email your entry on the excel form provided, so that it is received by Saturday, October 23rd to me. All I need is the names and grades, you select who runs which race that day.
