I revised the U.S. History Survey Courses at Texas Southern University in order to be more inclusive of Black Americans’ contributions to U.S. History. I represented Texas Southern University at academic meetings in Austin, Texas. I was a Masters Thesis Oral Defenses Committee member at Texas Southern University. I authored and gained funding for a $35,000 Federal Research Project on Waterways Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Houston, Texas. Shepherded eight former Texas Southern University students through various Graduate Programs (with financial assistance) in American History and Liberal Arts in several colleges and universities in the U.S.
