Reception Classes Boot & Bell Newsletter: November 6th2017

Can you believe we are on the countdown to Christmas? Time is moving quickly
and it is lovely seeing how much progress the children are making!

We have Yoga on a Monday. On Monday please send your child to school in their school top and jumper and then in elasticated waist trousers or black/grey leggings.

We would like to invite parents to share a yoga session with us on: Monday 13 November at 9.30.Please come straight to the school office who will show you into the hall where we do our yoga.

Please continue to read with your child each day and sign their reading diary. Children also need to learn their Bear Words at home. We will check if they know them on a Friday morning and if they get them all right they will get a certificate and a mention in our Achievement Assembly!

We are looking for parents to help with our cooking sessions. You don’t have to be a Jamie Oliver or Nigella Lawson to come and help! We are looking for someone to support Miss Smith on a Wednesday afternoon, 1.30-3.00. Ingredients and instructions provided. Please put your name next to a slot.

We will be starting daily tooth brushing with all the children. Please make sure you have signed the permission slip. Children will have their own brush and will be supervised. Oral hygiene is really important and we want to help children to look after their teeth. This brushing is in addition to your morning and evening brushing. If you want any additional information please google ‘Brushing Buddies’.

Some Boot & Bell dates for your diary:
