This disk contains all the Program materials developed to assist you in becoming a Clean Marina including the Guidebook, the Self-assessment Checklist in both pdf and Microsoft Excel formats, the Pledge card in pdf format, and Boater Tip Sheets in Microsoft Word format.
Instructions on using this CD:
The Guidebookis a duplicate of the binder bound copy that you may already have. Adobe Reader is necessary to use this electronic version. Adobe Reader can be downloaded free at
When you open the “Guidebook” make sure the “hand tool” is selected. This will permit you to view any topic in the table of contents. Clicking a topic will open the selected section of the guidebook in a new window. You can refer back to the table of contents window by clicking on the “” button or closing out the bottom “” in the top right hand corner. You can then select other topics to view from the table of contents page.
The Self- assessment Checklist used to calculate your marina’s score is provided in both pdf and Microsoft Excel formats. The Microsoft Excel version automatically calculates your “Total Points Awarded” and “Total N/A Points” for each chapter as you enter values in the appropriate column and row and produces your final score at the bottom of the document.
Boater’s Tip Sheetsare provided in Microsoft Word format. You can insert your marina logo and/or contact information directly into the document. Two text boxes are provided for this purpose.
There is also a Pledge Cardyou can print, sign, and return to The New Jersey Marine Sciences Consortium. A photo copy will be made at NJMSC and the original will be returned for you to display at your facility.
