  • The Garden Party is almost here! We are in need of donations to make this event a success. Items that are needed include bake sale items, Gatorade, sodas, and silent auction items. Students received a copy of the donation request again on Friday or you can reach out to the PTA email at if you are able to supply a donation.We also need adult volunteers to work during the event.   • Mother's Day is right around the corner! Our mixed bag fundraiser from earlier in the year is still open and items are available for purchase. Please use this link:
  • Our Muffins with Moms event will be held on Friday, May 11th, at 7:00 am. Students and their moms, or other special female in their life, will enter through the cafeteria entrance. Doors will open at the cafeteria entrance at 7:00 am and students will go to class no later than 7:45 am. We are reaching out to all of our dads. If you are able to assist with Muffins with Moms, please contact Christie Reynolds at .
  • On May 11th, the PTA flower sale will take place. The cost is $1.50per flower and each child is welcome to purchase up to two flowers.If your child will be purchasing flowers, please be sure to send in a grocery bag to bring the flowers home.
  • Spirit Week is May 14th thru May 18th.The PTA & SGE Staff encourage SGE students to participate in the following SPIRIT DAYS:

Monday, May 14th – Pajama Day (No Slippers)
Tuesday, May 15th – Class Color Day (Field Day)
Wednesday, May 16th – Favorite Sports Team Day
Thursday, May 17th – Mis-Match Day (Field Day Rain date)

  • Our last dining night out fundraiser will be held on Sunday, May 20th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chipotle in Westminster, MD. Please either provide the attached flyer, show it on your phone or mention it at the register.The PTA gets 50% back from all sales! We can't thank you enough for all of your support during our dining night out fundraisers throughout the school year.
  • Have you placed your first Schwan’s order to support the SGE Playground fund? 20% of everything purchased through May 13th will go straight to the playground fund. An eGift Card can also be purchased for future use and 40% of it will go to the playground. Visit schwans.com and select campaign ID 36943. Please share this information with friends and family!
  • Would your child like to ride to school with IGGY?! Raffle tickets are being sold beginning today through Garden Party on May 19, 2018. Tickets are $1 or 6 tickets for $5. Students may purchase tickets as many times as they like. Winners do not need to be present at Garden Party.
  • Do you have a computer that needs repair? Tomlin Technology President Zach Tomlin is a resident of Robert’s Field and he is currently offering to donate 10% of labor profits to the playground fund. This is a great way to support a local business, have technology repaired, AND support the playground! Tomlin Technology is located at 77 East Main Street, Suite 106 and their telephone number is (410) 861-6278. Give them a call or stop by today!
  • REMINDER TO VISITORS AND VOLUNTEERS: You will need to have your driver’s license ready for check-in each and every time you visit.
  • Please participate in the “Summer Fun” NESAP Drive going on right now through May 19.

Spring Garden Elementary wants to spread a little kindness to our community. As a school we are collecting summer items to donate to NESAP. Please consider bringing an item or two (new) to school to help local families enjoy the summer months. The drive is going on right now through May 19!

Items Needed:Sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, beach towels, sand toys, buckets, goggles, floaties, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, reusable water bottles, books for summer reading and other small summer related items.(No flip flops, large pool toys, or used items. Thank you.)
