Elks Student of the Month, Due Anytime through March You can get this application in Miss Peterson’s office. Filling it out once will make you eligible for all of the months.

Alert Magazine Scholarship, No Due Date For Seniors, 2.5 gpa or higher, must write a 600-1000 word essay about a personal encounter that you or someone you know has had with drug or alcohol abuse. Apple at www.alertmagazine.org

BSPI Annual Scholarship, Due Date: March 15, 2015 For Seniors. Be a resident of Idaho, and major in one of the careers represented by BSPSI: Inspectors, Plan Reviewers, Construction Managers, Architects, and Engineers. See Ms. Peterson to apply.

Treasure Valley Community College Foundation Scholarships, Due Date: March 15, 2015 See Miss Peterson for application.
Valley Wide Cooperative Scholarship Program, Due Date: March 15, 2015 For Seniors whose parents are members of Valley Wide Cooperative. See Miss Peterson for application.
Westmark Credit Union Scholarship, Due Date: March 19, 2015 For students that are members of Westmark Credit Union and have at least $25 in their account. Must also have a GPA of 3.5 or above, and be attending an accredited college or university. See Ms. Peterson to apply.
Caldwell Night Rodeo Western Heritage Scholarship, Due Date: March 20, 2015 Students must have a minimum 3.0 gpa and attend an Idaho or eastern Oregon college. Don’t necessarily have to have a rodeo affiliation. See Miss Peterson for application.
Leadership, Achievement, and Determination of Young Ladies Scholarship-LTA Latin Sorority Scholarship, Due Date: March 20, 2015 This scholarship is for senior girls who are first-generation college students and have a 3.0 GPA or above. Preference is given to girls who are of Latina descent. Must submit application, essay, transcript, and recommendations. See Ms. Peterson to apply.
Write From the Heart Teen Writing Contest, Due Date: March 20, 2015 This contest has categories for cancer survivors or friends/family dealing with cancer. For ages 13-19. See Miss Peterson for Flyer.
Jiffy Lube Teen Driver Scholarship Program, Due Date: March 24, 2015 For students Ages 15-18-- must complete a 500 word essay. Apply online at www.yourturn2apply.com
Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Due Date: March 30, 2015 This fund covers different national scholarships for Hispanic seniors. To qualify, one: must be of Hispanic Heritage, have a minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for High School Students, plan to enroll Full-Time in an accredited not-for -profit 4 year university or graduate school during FALL of scholarship cycle year, be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, DACA or Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA), Complete FAFSA or Complete state Dream Act financial aid application (if applicable). Be the Whale Art Scholarship, Due Date: March 31, 2015 This art contest requires you to complete artwork of a Woodland Selkirk Mountain Caribou. Go to bethewhale.com for more information.
J. Howard and Alice B. Stone Scholarship, Due Date: March 31, 2015 This local Weiser scholarship for $10,000 over four years requires a minimum 3.0 cumulative gpa and a minimum score of 20 on the ACT and 1000 on the SAT.
Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship, Due Date: March 31, 2015 This national scholarship is in memory of a woman who was aboard American Airlines Flight 77 that crashed into the pentagon in 2001. For Seniors who have a 3.0 gpa or higher, leadership ability, community service, and parents income can’t exceed $60,000.
Pointe Pest Control Idaho Scholarship, Due Date: March 31, 2015 This scholarship requires at least a 3.0 GPA. You must include your FAFSA Student Aid Report. It is based off of achievements and need. See Ms. Peterson to apply or apply online at http://pointepest.com/idaho-scholarship-application/
Idaho Community Foundation Scholarships, Due Date: April 1, 2015 For Seniors—the following scholarships are available through the ICF Scholarship Application: Anne Veseth Memorial Scholarship (2.5 gpa, Idaho College, major in fire ecology or auto mechancis), Erle and Cynthia Byram Scholarship (enroll in Idaho), Idaho Power-Kevin Whittier Memorial Scholarship (major in engineering areas, academic or professional-technical), Jim Poore Memorial Scholarship (Washington/Payette County student; must attend U of I or Boise State, 2.5 or above cumulative gpa), Mike Crapo Math and Science Scholarship (resident of Idaho, majoring in math or science, incl. engineering, go to a four-year college, 3.0 cum. Gpa), Yvonne and Dick Lierz Scholarship Fund (must go to Idaho or Nevada college, demonstrate volunteer involvement, must have a 2.8 gpa or higher).
Ray and Bonnie Turner Scholarship, Due Date: April 1, 2015 This scholarship is for a Weiser Senior who plans to attend the University of Idaho.
Wal-Mart Dependent Scholarship, Due Date: April 1, 2015 For seniors who have a parent who is an active employee of Wal-Mart and has been for six months. Linkous Foundation Scholarship, Due Date: April 3, 2015 This $6,000 scholarship over two years goes to a Weiser student who plans to attend an Idaho public 2-4 year college or university, or attend TVCC. You must have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
Nyssa-Nampa Sugarbeet Growers Association Scholarship, Due Date: April 10, 2015 Must be a graduating senior, and be the child or grandchild of a member of the Snake River Sugar Company LLC Cooperative-members who deliver sugarbeets to the Nampa sugar factory. See Ms. Peterson to apply.
Ali Carnig Memorial Scholarship, Due Date: April 10, 2015 This scholarship, sponsored by Weiser School District Employees, is for sons and daughters of current Weiser School District employees.
Larry and Rolaine Hansen Family Scholarship, Due Date: April 10, 2015 This Weiser scholarship, in memory of former teacher, counselor, and coach, Larry Hansen, is based on school participation, community activities, service, and goals.
Lienkaemper-Thomason Funeral Home Community Scholarship Program, Due Date: April 10, 2015 This Weiser scholarship is for Seniors who are in the top 25th percentile of their class and is based in academic rigor, community service, and personal accomplishment.
Payette National Forest/Payette Employees Assoc. Scholarship, Due Date: April 10, 2015 This scholarship is for children or grandchildren of Payette National Forest Employees or Retirees. Employee/retiree must be a current member of the Payette Employees Association. Student must have at least a 2.5 GPA and submit test scores and application. See Ms. Peterson to apply.
Weiser Little Theater Scholarship, Due Date: April 10, 2015 This scholarship application is for students who have helped with Weiser Little Theater presentations.
Weiser Local Scholarship Application, Due Date: April 10, 2015 This scholarship application makes you eligible for several local scholarships.
Alois and Marie Goldmann Memorial Scholarship, Due Date: April 15, 2015 For Seniors-- Created by the George and Mary Freund family of Idaho Falls to memorialize his maternal grandparents who were murdered during World War II at Auschwitz. Open to graduating high school seniors statewide who are attending an Idaho college or university. To apply see Ms. Peterson.
Bobby Rogers/Tiffany Walters Memorial Scholarship “Buckle Up for Bobby”
Due Date: April 15, 2015 For Seniors, must write essay and take part in the “Alive at 25” class. Given in memory of two teenagers killed in auto accident from the Boise area. Must submit essay on safe driving habits. See Ms. Peterson to apply.
Community Council of Idaho Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Due Date: April 15, 2015 This scholarship is for seniors of Hispanic descent. They must be a resident of Idaho, pursue an academic course of study, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. See Ms. Peterson to apply.
The Lightfoot Foundation Scholarship, Due Date: April 15, 2015 For Seniors--The Lightfoot Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was established to provide financial assistance through scholarship, to post high school students who are looking to further their education. The Lightfoot Foundation requires you to have a 2.5 cumulative GPA.You must reside in the Treasure Valley area for AT LEAST 1 year. Your household adjusted gross income must not exceed over $90,000 a year. All applications are submitted online. You must submit your COMPLETE ONLINE application on or before April 15. Jenna Zeller Memorial Scholarship, Due Date: April 22, 2015 For Seniors from Weiser, must be a full-time participant in a varsity sport, show evidence of high student/athletic ability, performance and drive, have minimum B average.
Student-view Scholarship Program, Due Date: April 22, 2015 For Seniors. No academic requirements or essays. Simply log on to www.student-view.com and complete a 15-20 minute survey about colleges in your area. Award is random.
Bill Herr Memorial Scholarship, Due Date: April 30, 2015 For Seniors who have participated in an activity sponsored by the IHSAA. Must demonstrate academic ability, citizenship, and community involvement.
Bill Nauman Memorial Rodeo Scholarship, Due Date: May 20, 2015 $500 Scholarship to students active in high school or college rodeo in Idaho District 2 or 3 or Baker and Malheur counties. Application must include essay and two letters of recommendation and list of accomplishments. Must also include transcript. To apply see Ms. Peterson.
