Bids on each auction item can be submitted via email until midnight (Eastern Standard Time) of November 16, 2015. Email bids should be submitted to Silent Auction Chairperson, Dr. Catherine Kurkjian at . Bids can also be submitted in person at the Children’s Literature Assembly Breakfast on Sunday, November 22, 2015, until 9:00 a.m.

Winners with the highest bid will be announced at the closing of the Children’s Literature Assembly Breakfast. It is not necessary to be present at the breakfast to win.

“Chickerella arrives at the Fowl Ball.” This is a

giclee print is the only one made of this image, thus far from MJ and Herm Auch’s Chickerella (Holiday House). The image is 11”x17” and the dimensions including the frame are 20”x24”.

This 8”x10” poster signed by Eric Carle commemorates the 45th Anniversary of The Very Hungry Caterpillar (Philomel Books) originally published in 1969. The poster is a tissue paper and paint collage of this very colorful and beloved character.

This 11’X11” work of art was originally created in pen and ink for a board book by author/llustrator Jamie Harper published in 2007, Night Night Baby Bundt: A Recipe for Nightime, published by Candlewick. Working in mixed media and based on the board book image, Jamie created this original signed work in block printing and collage.
