PACKING LIST

You will be housed in Woodland Glen IV residence hall located at 703 Sports Center Drive, Lexington, KY 40506. All rooms are 2 person suites so you will be responsible for cleaning your own bathroom. *Your rooms will have refrigerators and microwaves in them. You may pack snacks accordingly! NOTE: the beds are full size and have extra-long Tempur-Pedic mattresses—bring a set of full-size sheets (preferably extra long).

• Hat

• Glasses/contacts and cleaning solution

• Prescription medication

• Sunglasses

• Light jacket

  • One nice outfit for gallery hop and the final showcase

• Jeans

• Raingear or umbrella

• Shorts

• Sweatshirt

• T-shirts

• Tank tops

• Underwear

• Sweat pants or warm up pants

• Pajamas

• Bras

• Flip flops or comfortable shoes

• Shoes especially rain boots

• Socks

• Hand towels

• Beach towels -- can be used for bath or swimming

• Shower caddy

• Comb or brush

• Deodorant

• Feminine hygiene products (if applicable)

• Bug repellant

• Shampoo and conditioner

• Shaving cream and razors

• Soap in carrier

• Sunblock

• Tissues

  • Toilet Paper (one roll is initially provided)
  • Clorox wipes

• Toothbrush, toothbrush container, and toothpaste

• Camera

• Comforts of home, like a family photo or a stuffed animal; just be sure it is replaceable

• Entertainment, like books, hackey sacks, and deck of cards

  • Binder with note paper for taking notes in class
  • Smart phone, tablet or labtop computer for accessing online course materials (if you do not have one, computers are available for use in the library)
  • Headphones
  • Pens and pencils
  • Reusable bowls, cups and/or silverware for eating snacks in your rooms (Three meals are provided daily in the Commons Market)
  • Full Size Sheets (recommended extra long)
  • Pillow
  • Comforter or large blanket for bed (rooms can get cold)
  • Rooms are equipped with cable if you want to bring a television.
  • Playing cards or board games
