July 25, 2017 BERGEN TOWN BOARD REGULAR 2nd MEETING
The Bergen Town Board convened in a regular session at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall with Supervisor Cunningham presiding.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
Eagle Scout Project Jared Fregoe presented his idea for his project to refurbish the signs for Drews Nature Center. Councilman Stone made to approve Jared Fregoe’s Eagle Scout Project to refurbish the signs at Drews Nature Center; seconded by Councilwoman Grant and carried by a vote 5-0.
MINUTES: Councilman Anderson made a motion to approve the July 11, 2017 minutes; seconded by Councilman Stone and it carried by a vote 4-0. Councilwoman Grant abstained

BUILDINGS: Library building renovation grant to be submitted this week

Policy and Personnel: Looking into a Social media policy for creating Town Facebook page.
NEW BUSINESS:
Proposed Countywide shared Services opportunities were discussed, a public information meeting August 9th at 5:30 at the old County Court House.
Clean Energy Communities Program invite for presentation
Letter of support for the Byron-Bergen Public LibraryCouncilwoman Grantmade a motion to approve Supervisor Cunningham writing a letter of support for the Byron-Bergen Public Library grant application and 10 year building occupancy; seconded by Councilman Haywood and carried by a vote 5-0.
Proclamation for Bergen Meadows Councilman Haywood made a motion to offer a proclamation to Bergen Meadows for their 25th Birthday Celebration; seconded by Councilwoman Grant and it carried by a vote 5-0.

Regular Meeting – Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the Courtroom with the audit of the bills at 6:45 p.m.
ADJOURNMENTwas at 7:59 pm on a motion by Councilwoman Grant; seconded by Councilman Stone and it carried by a vote 5-0.
