Departure:Saturday, January 23, 2009
Ms. Knispel cell phone 322-0087 will be on from 8:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Friday night and one hour before departure time on Saturday morning if you should become ill and need to call her to cancel your performance.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to check all equipment and needed documents-scripts, note cards, easels, chairs, stands, etc. with a coach as you load and unload. You are responsible for your own equipment and will be required to pay for anything you lose! Extempers are responsible for their equipment. VHS Speech Team has a reputation for being “good sports,” being polite, well mannered and well behaved. THAT WILL CONTINUE. Before leaving Broken Bow High School to pack BUS, make sure that you have cleaned up any food, trash etc. from the area where the team has left their equipment.
Report to School no later than 4:45 AM. Coaches will begin calling parents at that time if you are not here.

Arrival: 7:20 A.M.- You will receive a card with your schedule on it. Double and triple entries must notify by using board in competition rooms if you will be late for an event/round. Remember to check the schedule on the tabroom window for any changes. Sometimes drops by other teams will affect our schedule. Changes can be made up to the beginning of the Round II’s.BE ALERT!

Two rounds and all finals will start approximately 2:004:30 Awards or ASAP in the Middle School Auditorium.
Finals: There will be novice finals in some events. You will need to watch the postings. Medals: Top 6 varsity competitors, top 6 novice competitors.
Varsity-help and encourage novices. NOVICE-Got a question? Can’t find a coach? FIND A VARSITY SPEAKER!!Any student who is not in finals, needs to attend finals of events to support team members and LEARN from other performers.4:00 Awards-clean your “camp” before you go-IF everything is on time.
We will get food at McDonald’s or Subway asap after awards.
