What’s New At WW?

Condo fee payments should be mailed by individual checks to the address on the coupons. If not, the association is charged a fee. Please do not use on-line banking as this requires a fee that your association has to pay.

2008 Summer Use of Pool

The season went well even though we had some emergency repair work done so that the pool was closed for a few days. With the purchase of the 6 lounge chairs, the Board hopes that all enjoyed having these. Thanks to President Joanne, we also were able to have an umbrella for one table.

However, it is imperative that all owners know that the pool combo is NOT to be given to anyone not staying in your unit. Our insurance policy requests this and we could be liable if an accident occurred with insurance refusing to pay for damages.

A new pool phone and landline were installed this summer to replace the antiquated analog emergency cell phone. This phone is for emergency use only to contact 911.

Notes to Owners:

Please remember that with winter approaching that thermostats MUST be set at least at 55 degrees per our By-Laws. Also, do NOT forget to turn off your water and water heater whenever no one is in your unit.

Insurance Info for Owners:

Please be aware that the association flood policy-like the master policy- does NOT cover your contents, improvements and betterments in your unit. Also, it is imperative that you realize that the amount of deductible if you are the cause of any damage to yours or a neighbor’s condo is now $5000 per MD law. You can receive more info by contacting Jan at .

Recycling at Whispering Woods

Please use the city recycling dumpsters on our property. We need to be sure that WW is becoming more “green”.

Fall and Winter Weather and Wind

Each owner should be certain that all loose objects and furniture is secured on both decks and in courtyards. This is for your protection as well as the other owners.

Outside Front Door Light Fixture

The light fixtures outside the front door can be replaced with a fixture similar in size and body finish color to that of the original light fixture.
