Senior Manager Statistical Programming – Home based

Job Summary:
A global company established in the pharmaceutical environment is currently seeking a Senior Manager Statistical Programming to join their team. This role can be home based from any European locations where the company has an office.
As Senior Manager Statistical Programing your role will involve a large part of line management responsibilities for the statistical programming team alongside several departmental leadership activities required to ensure the department is achieving objectives in an efficient manner.
You will develop the strategy for processes and ensure there is an implementation of effective, scientifically sound and regulatory compliant processes and practices through training, coaching and mentoring.
You will support and strengthen the statistical programming team in various ways such as:
- Be in charge of the development of statistical programmers by leading, training, mentoring, coaching and developing all internal programmers in the group to enhance the statistical programming performance in cross-functional global teams.
- Ensure compliance with the regulations in terms of validation of programs used for the purpose of statistical reporting
- Ensure CDISC compliance and production of submission work product that support clinical development or product lifecycle-related compound programs (development, submissions and questions to regulatory authorities, post-marketing, and safety surveillance)
- Be accountable for the statistical programming delivery and quality support to the clinical projects done internally or with external partners.
To succeed in this role you will have the following profile:
- BSc/MSc degree in Statistics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in line management for Statistical programming developed within the CRO, Biotech and/or Pharmaceutical industry
- Strong experience with managing strategic leadership and operational processes within a global environment
- Excellent SAS knowledge and understanding of Statistical Programming aspects required for regulatory submissions.
- Strong communication skills and fluent in English (written and spoken)
