Class Preparation and Policies

Completion of class assignments is the responsibility of the student and will be considered an indication of your ability to succeed in a University setting. It is expected that students will be responsible and timely, do their own work and attend all classes.

The Portfolio is a collection of documents which provide a record of your transfer activities.
The portfolio will evolve during the course and will have both standard elements shared by all transferring students as well as additional items specific for you. Refer to Operational Calendar and Assignment Log for due dates and points available for each assignment. Keep track of points on the Assignment Log.
Your portfolio is to be compiled in a 3-ring binder, divided into sections with a divider for each section. Portfolios should be well organized and easy to follow. Portions of your portfolio will be assessed at different times throughout the semester. The schedule identifies due dates for assignments. Final review and grading of your Portfolio will be done during the final class meeting.
