1.Some Important Points to Note :-
i)All entries in application form should be filled in block letters with suitable answer not by dots. Dashes or cross mark. Items not applicable should be answered as ‘NA’.
ii)No original certificate should be enclosed the application. Orginal will be required only at the time of adimission.
iii)All the photocopies attached to the application should be attested by a gazetted officer and singed by the candidate with the endorsement
submitted by me.
iv)Duly filled in application form may be submitted at the college counter
between 11 am. and 2 pm. on each day except gazetted holidays or may be sent by Regd. Post so as to reach this office by last date
specified at para 2 above. Application received beyound last date will be rejected.
v)Index card for appliocation received by hand will be issued then and there. In case of application received by post Index card will be sent by post. If a stamp self address envolope is enclosed with the application.
vi)Intimation for adimission will be sent to the selected candidates by Regd. Post. list of the selected candidates will be notified on the college notice board. Failure to take adimission on specified date and time for any rea son whatsoever will result in forfeiture of the seats
2.Documents to be attached to the application form :-
i.Original Money receipt issued by the college towards application fee (which include cost of form, cost of information booklet and postal expenses).
ii.One stamp size photograph on application.
iii.Photocopy of school leaving certificate.
iv.Photocopy of marksheet(s) of H.S.C or equivalent qualifying examination.
v.Photocopy of relevent certificate to claim reserved seat or weightage. Certifates submitted later on may not be considered.
vi. One Unstamped self addressed envelope of size 9” x 4” .

Admission Information for Higher Secondary Classes 2008-09
1.Date of reopening of the college after summer vacation 17.06.08
2.Last date for receipt of application for admission to 1st yr. +2 class : 15 days from the publication of H.S.C result or reopening of the college whichever is later.
3.The Council of Higher Secondary Education has introduced new course structure and scheme of studies from academic session 2007-08 for the Higher Secondary Classes.
4.According to new course structure 1st year examination is to be conducted by junior college and 2nd year examination to be conducted by Council on the curriculm meant for the year.
5.The examination at the end of 1st year shall be for 700 marks including 100 marks of Environment Education (Besides English and M.I.L Environment Education shall also be a compulsory subject) 2nd year exam shall be for 600 marks.
6.SUBJECT WITH PRACTICAL AND CRITERIA
I)30% of the total marks shall be diverted for practical exam and the
remaining 70% of marks thereof for theory.
II)Pass marks shall be 30% of the total marks in theory paper and 40% of the total marks in practical paper in each subject, 35% of total marks in the aggregate.

8.ELECTIVE :-
As per the C.H.S.E norms, besides the compulsory subjects students shall have to offer only four Elective Subjects each carrying a maximum of 200 marks that is 100 marks for 1st year and 100 marks for 2nd year as per the following allowed combination of subjects.

Joint Venture Computer Education :-
A Joint Venture Computer Programme sponsored by the Dept. of Higher Education Govt. of Orissa (Edutech Informatics India Ltd) runs in this College. Students of this College can pursue various Govt.aproved computer courses on payment of Govt. approved course fees. The timings of the classes are adjusted as per the Govt. approved course fees. The timings of the classes are adjusted as per the convenience of the students without interfering with their normal time table. On successful completion of the courses the student receives certificates recognised by the Govt. of Orissa.

Applicants who have excelled in NCC, Scout /Guide Sports within two years preceeding the date of application will be given an additional weightage (as detailed below) over and above the aggregate marks secured by them in the previous qualifying examination, for admission into Higher Secondary classes of the college.
