* Sign ups for the nineteenth annual Mr. VHS male talent competition are this week in Mrs. Stanton's room 506. Swing by and pick up an application. The first meeting is next Mondayin room 506 during lunch.

* Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet todayduring both lunches in Mr. Fain's room. We will talk about plans for the upcomingMonday, Dec. 9, speaker. That's FCA,Thursday, both lunches in room # 604.

* Students for Life--VHS will have our monthly meeting tomorrow, Dec. 6, in room # 604. We'll review and plan our next movie night and Community Service activity over Winter Break. That's Students for Life,tomorrowat lunch in room # 604.

* Attention students! If you are planning on taking the SAT testthis Saturdayplease remember to bring a photo ID and a printed admission ticket. You will not be allowed to take the test without this information.

* Attention all Seniors: The VHS Counseling Office will be hosting a financial aid night for all seniors and their parents onWednesday, December 11 at 6:30PM. The Spanish speaking presentation will be held in the Library and the English speaking presentation will take place in the Cafeteria. If you are planning on attending a community college, CSU, UC or private school this event is for you and your parents so mark your calendars now and plan on attending.

* The blood drive is scheduled for December 17th. Please volunteer to make this opportunity to help others a huge success. ASB representatives are taking volunteers now. If interested, please speak with an ASB member to sign up.

* School picture packages have arrived. If you ordered school pictures, stop by the Activities Office to pick them up.

*Homecoming picture packages have also arrived. They are available for pick up at the Activities window before school, during break and lunch, and after school.

* Attention girls trying out for softball. Tryouts will be heldTuesday, January 7th at 3pmon the varsity softball field. You must have a completed physical form and a copy (front and back) of your insurance card to be eligible for tryouts. Turn in your completed forms to Coach Harding in the locker room during your PE period. Do not wait until the last minute. The sooner you turn in the papers the better!!
