Player Code of Conduct
I will:
·  Play football for the FUN of it
·  Always do my best, even if we're losing or the other team is stronger
·  Always play fairly - I won't cheat, complain or waste time
·  Do what the referee or other match official asks me, and never argue with their decisions
·  Respect my team-mates, the other team, match officials, spectators and my coach/team manager
·  Support and encourage my team mates. Helping them improve will help me too
·  Listen to my coach/team manager, and perform drills and exercises to the best of my ability
·  Not be disruptive at training sessions or during matches
·  Try to accept defeat with good sportsmanship
·  Shake hands with the other team at the end of each game
·  Talk to someone I trust, such as my parents or the club welfare officer, at an appropriate time, if I'm unhappy about anything at my club
These points reflect the requirements of the FA Respect programme. We the undersigned agree to abide by this code of conduct and understand that it may be updated from time to time. We acknowledge that failure to conduct ourselves in a manner deemed appropriate by the club may result in disciplinary action.

Parent / Spectator Code of Conduct
I will:
·  Not force an unwilling child to participate in sport.
·  Encourage my child to play by the rules and to respect the opposition and match officials
·  Teach my child that honest effort is as important as victory, so that the result of each game is accepted without undue disappointment
·  Not criticise or shout at any child for making a mistake or losing a game
·  Applaud good play and effort by both teams
·  Accept the judgement and decisions of the referee and other match officials without dissent
·  Accept that abusing or criticising match officials may result in disciplinary action towards me
·  Not engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour
·  Support efforts to remove all forms of abuse from youth sport
·  Avoid giving technical instruction to any player, or players, during training or matches: this is the coach’s role and it is well-known that too much advice can be detrimental to performance and enjoyment
·  Recognise the value and importance of volunteer coaches. They give up their time and resources to provide recreational activities for my child
·  Not publicly question or argue with managers and coaches
·  Raise any issues or questions with the manager or a committee member in the appropriate manner following club procedures
·  During matches, remain outside the field of play and within the Designated Spectator Area (where provided)
·  Ensure that my child is provided with the correct equipment and that fees are paid regularly and on time
·  Remember that children play for FUN – theirs, not mine
These points reflect the requirements of the FA Respect programme. We the undersigned agree to abide by this code of conduct and understand that it may be updated from time to time. We acknowledge that failure to conduct ourselves in a manner deemed appropriate by the club may result in disciplinary action.
