The synergy arising from the five concurrent topics will be highly beneficial to all exhibitors andvisitors too.

Dr. Andreas Gruchow, member of the Board of Deutsche Messe AG, Hannover explains the logic behind the shift: ‘As a company that organizes trade fairs, our principal job is to offer our customers marketplaces that give them the best possible sales opportunities for the region. Since the concentration of the industry around Mumbai makes it an important region for our exhibitors, the decision to stage trade fairs there was a logical step.’

The key visitor target groups will include chemical, petrochemical & process industries, ports, warehousing, railways and airport authorities, food processing and packaging Industry, textile industry, automotive industry and components suppliers, construction machinery, printing machinery, materials handling industry, electrical, electronics and engineering industry, oil & gas industry, plastic and rubber machinery, infrastructure and diverse manufacturing and service industries.

The other advantages of the city are: international airport, sea port, train connectivity; availability of support infrastructure and the concentration ofdecision-makers and buying power. Proximity to other manufacturing centers like Pune, Nasik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Ahmedabad, Baroda and Indore makes Mumbai a very attractive destination. The other advantages the city has are: international airport, sea port, train connectivity; availability of good fair ground and support infrastructure; concentration of decision -making and buying power and presence of large service sector.

Hannover Milano Fairs India, Managing Director, Sudhir Patil delineates the significance of holding the fairs in December. ‘The timing of the show is very important. Indian economy is growing at eight percent plus the new investments are gaining momentum. It is important for corporate India as well as companies from US, Europe and Japan to participate in trade fairs in India and to contact the user industries when they are making decisions on procurement of new technology and equipment.

CeMAT INDIA is highly significant for the logistic sector India. Logistics is fast emerging as a major industry sector in the country. With booming retail and wide spread supply chain networks logistic has tremendous potential for growth in India. Suppliers of material handling equipment, logistic and warehousing services and the technology developers will find CeMAT INDIA an ideal platform for presenting their products and services.

Automation is the key for success in every industry. Efficient production and quality depends on automation. Industrial Automation INDIA will be a B2B show for the automation technology providers to showcase their latest products and services to the decision makers from diverse sectors attending the show.

Motion, Drive and Automation is significant as it is all about running plant and machinery efficiently. All the hi-tech innovations in production technology will be featured at MDA INDIA.

Energy efficiency is the topic of the day. Given the challenges in the energy sector globally, energy efficiency is on the top of the agenda in all the industries. In order to mitigate the irregularities in energy supply a number of enterprises are turning to captive power plants. Energy INDIA will offer a platform to companies in these fields to project their technology and services.

Surface Technology plays a crucial role for every product – from a pin to an aircraft. New technologies and material for surface treatment are always in demand in all the industries.

The joint presentation of these five fairs has a unique advantage for exhibitors and visitors. The topics of the five shows are closely interrelated. Exhibitors can find their potential customers among the participants of other shows taking place under the same roof. ON the other hand the visitors have an opportunity to see integrated technologies in a single visit. This synergy effect is a well proven concept at the world renowned Hannover Messe.
