Eli F. Lizza, M.D.
Dr. Lizza is certified by the American Board of Urology. A graduate of UMD-New JerseyMedicalSchool he trained at LenoxHillHospital in New York and at West VirginiaUniversity. He completed a postgraduate fellowship in Male Infertility and Microsurgery at the ColumbiaPresbyterianMedicalCenter.
Dr. Lizza has authored numerous articles and chapters on Male Infertility and Erectile Dysfunction. He holds appointments at LenoxHillHospital, the New YorkPresbyterianHospital, CabriniMedicalCenter and UniversityHospital in Newark where he is the Director of Male Infertility.
Dr. Lizza has personally performed over 2,000 microsurgical procedures in for the problems of infertility and erectile dysfunction areas in which he enjoys special expertise.
John A. Fracchia, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Fracchia is certified by the American Board of Urology. A graduate of UMD-New Jersey Medical School he trained at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York and at the New York Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Fracchia is Past President of the New York Section of the American Urological Association and is presently the Vice-President for Professional Relations with Allied Urological. Dr. Fracchia has been Program Director and Chairman of Urology at LenoxHillHospital since 1983. Dr. Fracchia is Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at CornellUniversityMedicalCollege and Adjunct Professor of Urology at the New YorkMedicalCollege. Dr. Fracchia joined the practice in 1979 and practices general Urology.
Noel A. Armenakas, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Armenakas is certified by the American Board of Urology. A graduate of the University of Athens Medical School he trained at LenoxHillHospital in New York and at the New YorkPresbyterianHospital. He completed a postgraduate fellowship in Trauma and Reconstructive Urology at the University of California-San Francisco.
Dr. Armenakas is Associate Program Director of Urology at LenoxHillHospital and Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at CornellUniversityMedicalCollege. Dr. Armenakas joined the practice in 1992 and practices general Urology with a subspecialty interest in patients requiring reconstructive procedures. He enjoys a national reputation for his expertise in reconstructing the lower urinary tract in patients suffering from complex urethral strictures.
Edward C. Muecke, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Muecke is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a graduate of CornellUniversityMedicalSchool where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national honor medical society. He completed his entire training at the New YorkHospitalCornellMedicalCenter. Following his residency, Dr. Muecke completed a Fellowship at the Carnegie Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Muecke served in the United States Army as a Paratrooper Surgeon. Dr. Muecke joined the practice in 1979 and practices General Urology with a subspecialty interest in Pediatric Urology.

Dr. Reckler is certified by the American Board of Urology and graduated from HarvardMedicalSchool. Dr. Reckler served in the United States Army Institute of Surgical Research. He trained at University Hospitals in Cleveland and at the Harvard affiliated hospitals: thePeterBentBrighamHospital, BethIsraelHospital, Boston Children’s Hospital and the Massachusetts GeneralHospital.
Dr. Reckler is Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at the CornellUniversityMedicalCollege and Attending Urologist at the New YorkPresbyterianHospital and LenoxHillHospital in New York. Dr. Reckler joined the practice in 1990 and is particularly interested in Adult Urology, Urologic Oncology and Adrenal Surgery.
R. Ernest Sosa, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Sosa is certified by the American Board of Urology and graduated from CornellUniversityMedicalCollege where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national honor medical society. Dr. Sosa completed his entire training at the New YorkPresbyterianHospital following which he was a Ferdinand C. Valentine fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine. In 1993, Dr. Sosa received the American Urological Association’s award to the individual who, within 10 years of finishing his training, has contributed the most to American Urology.
Dr. Sosa is Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at the CornellUniversityMedicalCollege and Attending Urologist at the New YorkPresbyterianHospital and LenoxHillHospital in New York. Dr. Sosa joined the practice in 2003 and is particularly interested in minimally invasive therapies and the management of patients with urinary stone disease.
Elizabeth Kavaler, M.D.
Dr. Kavaler is certified by the American Board of Urology. She is a graduate of the State University of New York-Brooklyn medical school where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national honor medical society. Dr. Kavaler completed her entire training at the Mount SinaiMedicalSchool in New York following which she collaborated with the Departments of Anatomy and Cell Biology in research on the fetal development of the female pelvis to gain insight into the development of pelvic floor dysfunction in post-menopausal women..
Dr. Kavaler then concluded a post-graduate fellowship in Female Voiding Dysfunction at the University of California-Los Angeles. She joined the practice in 2000 and enjoys special expertise in Female Urology.
