1  Methods

For each spot the difference of mean normalized log-intensities between 5FU and CPT treated cells was used as the test statistic, estimating its standard deviation via David Scott’s L2E method for partial normal mixtures. Both unadjusted and adjusted P-values were obtained, the latter following the method of Benjamini & Hochberg to maintain the False Discovery Rate under 10%.

Results are presented in the form of a Normal QQ plot for the test statistics that indicates the number rejected null hypotheses both using unadjusted and adjusted P-values, as well as the 10 biggest values of the test statistic.
