Building work of coffee hall has started today (03/10/16). Work due to finish 12/12/2016. Suggestions for a name for the new building.

Report into investing funds.

Property fund long term investment, possible four to five years, Suggestion to put second half of the funds into the investment account.

PR 15/16Budget Amendments for 2016

Website to be brought forward to be in line with office move to Coffee Hall.

PR 16/16 Play Area Review

Report reviewed with Services meeting. Play area on Daniels Welch has been noted as a park to possibly be kept open. Only play area to be brought to the council.

Consultation period ended September 30th 2016.

Objection relating to Daniels Welch Play area.

PR 17/16 Parliamentary Boundaries

The independent parliament boundary commission for England has produced initial proposals for new parliament boundaries to take effect after 2018. The proposals are currently out for consultation. The Initial proposal includes the following wards: Woughton and Fishermead, central Milton Keynes, CampbellPark and old Wolverton, Danesborough and Walton, Monkston, brought, Newport Pagnell south, Newport Pagnell north and Hanslope.

Recommends 1. That the community council object to the proposed constituency on the ground that it does not adequately take account of natural communities of interest.

Second – Donna Fuller and Reginald Elliott

Unanimous

2. That the community council object to the proposed constituency name on the grounds that Newport Pagnell does not adequately reflect where most electors perceive that they live.

EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC

Council may find it appropriate to consider the following resolution should they believe that any discussion would be prejudicial to the public interests:

That, under the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, the public be excluded on the grounds of the confidential nature of the business about to be transacted which involves the likely disclosure of exempt information.

PR 18/16 Meeting Place review

Committee have been given a copy of the Meeting Place Review Options Report. Showing costs currently and possible alternatives.

Full report to be proposed in the next meeting.
