A Glimpse of History
In 1952,Mtre. Loris NASRI was in her family the fourth generation of lawyers. She created a new firm after retiring from Mtre. Abdel Fattah El Tawil's (Previous Minister of Justice first in the revolution) till 2000, since 2001 and after her decease the firm was called after her (Loris NASRI & Partners).
Being the fifth generation of lawyers, Mtre.Nasri MARCO is always proud to state that documents can be retraced in the firm since then.
Late / Loris NASRI, former "OBE" officer of the British Empire, and Officier de la Légiond’Honneur of the French Government after services undertaken by her and her team to the foreigners communities . She passed away in 2000, leaving the firm to Mtre/ Nasri MARCO, who was senior partner in the office since 1981 specialized in arbitration and litigation settlements.
He was immediately followed by Mtre/ Ahmed Helmy, initially working as consultant in Commercial and Maritime law, taxation and banking, to create a larger office with a range of activities not only working in judicial interest, but also in corporate law banking, maritime, real estate, international litigation and amicable settlement negotiations.
Since its creation, the firm worked as legal advisor and lawyer in Cairo to the British Embassy, French Embassy, Spanish Embassy, Swiss Embassy and Italian Embassy.
It is also our honor to state that we where chosen, lately, by the Belgian Embassy, the Russian Embassy, and registered at the U.S.A Embassy, and as official lawyers and translators to their consulates in Alexandria.
The office operates with four senior lawyers, in front of the Cassation Court, four lawyers before the court of Appeal, two consultants in taxation and a consultant in Protecting and indemnity mainly related to Maritime affairs and insurance companies, and a consultant in corporate affaires.
Due to the fact that the partners are all French and English fluent speaking, it became one of the major correspondents of the International Law Firms and associations in Egypt, mainly consultant in Banking, Shipping, Real Estate, Taxation and Creation of companies, expanding its activity to the Petroleum domains and the companies’ representation.
Assisting all kinds of commercial negotiations in Egypt, particularly the International Arbitration Center created by our Law Firm in Sharm El Sheikh (SHIAC).
