Instructed Vote: PTA Council
- Scholarships at North and South High School – Each unit will contribute to the scholarship fund based on the percentage of school photo sales. No one will be required to use more than 50% of profit. The remainder of the profit will be used for our own PTA projects. 10 scholarships of $500 each for each high school. All voted yes – 16 total members.
- PTA can withdraw $150 of the interest from the scholarship fund for scholarship costs. All 16 members in attendance voted yes.
Principal’s Report:
-Welcome to our unique school. We have a partnership with parents and teachers. Open door – come in with ideas & suggestions.
-Activities – please remember that parking is limited. You may not park in the Bardonia mall. Carpool, walk, etc. Looking for ideas regarding parking.
-Bea: The credit union has unofficially offered for us to park in the back parking spots. He needs to be notified of events.

Upcoming activities:
Fundraising: (from Amy Rickli) – short sleeve and pajamas will be available all year. Sweatshirts and long sleeves will only be a one-time order by November 18th. Looking for volunteers to design, market, and sell. School store has been successful and it is open the first Friday of every month. It is chaired by Irene Del Percio and AnnMarie Rickli. We are collecting box tops and Campbell’s soup labels. The labels also include all Pepperidge Farm products. Environmental club: collects used ink cartridges, cell phones, batteries, etc. We are a part of the Stop & Shop A+ rewards system. You must go online and register every school year. Completed 2 fundraisers – entertainment books and cookie dough. Amalia Phillips sold over $1300 and was the top seller. Tuesday December 6th, Kids mall, holiday boutique – next fundraiser. In the cafeteria will be venders for the parents. Looking for more venders. $40 per table for the venders. Thank all of the volunteers.
There will be a list going out for the labels for education.
5th Grade:
Cheryl & Eleni – 5th grade committees are set up. Kohl’s fundraiser raised money. Friday is the fashion show from 7-9pm. The trip was decided. They will go to the wax museum. Please hand in extra fliers to put on the PTA bulletin board.
Scholastic Book Fair: Week of November 28th . Friday December 2nd – Family fun night.
Reflections ended today.
Cultural Arts: Sadecky’s Puppets themed on Caring.
Next Meeting is Tuesday January 24th. Reflections reception then meeting.
