Manor View Practice

Wanted, person aged 16-24 to help the practice reach out to our adolescent and young adult patients.

The practice has a participation group that allows patients to give their views on how the practice is performing and make suggeastion for change.

We would really like to have a young person champion who could meet regularly with the people running the group to find new and innovative ways of reaching out to our younger patients. It won’t involve much work and could look very good on your CV or UCAS application, If you think this a job for you please tick the box on the form and send us a covering letter of why this would interest you. We will get in touch and you may be asked to come along for an informal chat.

If you don’t want to be the young person’sChampion, we would still like you to join the PPG, we would like your input as to how the surgery can best look after you, help you to look after yourselves and if you feel any services are not currently being provided. We are also planning on giving sometalks on topical health issues – including those which may affect you.

You may know that work on a brand new Health Centre – of which

Manor View will be a part – is starting shortly. It will be located only

a few hundred yards from here. If you have any ideas which you

would like considered, please let us know.

The Patient Participation Group meets twice a year at the moment,

but you can keep in touch electronically if you prefer. So no pressure.
