The department offers two programs: Master of Arts in Educational Psychology with concentrations in Educational Psychology or School Counseling, and Doctor of Philosophy with a major in Educational Psychology. Concentrations at the doctoral level include Measurement and Research Methodology, and Teaching, Learning, and Development. Student programs in each area are individualized with a wide range of courses, internships, and research offerings. The Department of Counseling Psychology is one of six departments in the School of Education. Degrees are offered at the master's and doctoral levels. Course work for each degree consists of both didactic and practicum components to providegraduates with the skills necessary to help individuals meet their needs as they progress toward educational, vocational, personal, and social goals.
