Congratulations on being selected to compete in the Miss North Carolina Pageant! Much hard workand dedication is needed tocompete at the state level. We encourageyou to work harder thanever before to achieve all ofyourgoals at the state pageant in June. By this point,you are aware of the amount of commitment it will take to arrive prepared.With no financial assistance outside ofyour local committee, a family can be somewhatoverwhelmedat the costof competing at the statelevel.Ourgoal asa stateorganization is toassistyou in defraying these costs throughyour optional participation in our program book incentiveprogram.Simply stated,the more ad pages thatyou can submit, the morecompetition coststhat can be recouped.
Contactyourfriends,family,businessassociates,schoolcontacts, church families,localbusinesses,andneighbors to encourage them to supportyourparticipationin the statepageantbysponsoringanadpage onyourbehalf.Morethan oneperson can sponsor asinglepage. Severalbusinessescouldcontribute to the cost of a page.

SPOTLIGHT PAGES
Miss Contestants: Each contestant will havea fullcolor spotlight page in theprogram book that will displayher head-shot, candids,andpersonalinformation.
Each contestant will be required to turn inthree horizontal candid photos. Thethree shots should includeaphoto ofyou preparingforfitnesscompetition, one of youat a communityappearance,and oneofyourepresentingyourschool in a non-pageantcapacity.
An information form () will be due at the above deadline for each contestant. The information sheet should be typed. The state committee and printer will make finaldecisions onwhichinformation is placed in thebookaccordingto spaceconstraints. This information will be printed as submitted. TheMiss NorthCarolinaOrganization will not be responsiblefor typographicalerrors submittedbycontestants onherpaperwork.
Teen Contestants: Each contestant will havea half page, fullcolor spotlight section in theprogram book that will displayher headshotandpersonalinformation. They will not be required to submit candid photos.
