Our mission is to help children become FUTUREKIDS-creating a worldwide learning community that has integrated the power of technology to facilitate and improve student performance.
Futurekids Hong Kong operated by Futurecyber Technology Solution Limited was established in 1992 and has been a registered school in Education Department since 1995. Futurekids has provided computer mastery training over 10 schools and organisations. Some of them are Lingnan University – Business Faculty (Department of Management), Diocesan Girls’ Junior School, St. Joseph’s Primary School, St. Paul's College Primary School, A.D. & F.D.P.O.H. Ltd. Leung Sing Tak School, Kwun Tong Methodist Social Service, St. Stephen's Girls' Primary School, and Pun U Association Wah Yan Primary School.
Futurekids is one of the pioneers that brought kids computer programming courses to Hong Kong. In 1998, a student of Futurekids won a 2nd runner up in the FUNdaMENTAL Programming Language International Competition. In 1999, 3 Students of Futurekids Hong Kong won all the awards in the FUNdaMENTAL Programming Language International Competition. We offered varies coding courses included: Java, C, Visual Basic, Python, Javascript, Android programming, Scratch and App Inventor etc.
A wide range of content and skill development is woven into the curriculums of Futurekids, including computer sciences and educational components such as word processing, graphics and design, desktop publishing, environmental simulation, animation, robotics, computer-assisted mathematics and reading, and logical thinking skills.
Futurekids always seeks for more recognizable and quality curriculums. In 2002, Futurekids was appointed by The University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) to be the firstapproved examination center in Hong Kong to offer Cambridge ICT Starters assessments. It is a specialized assessment programme created by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), a department of the UCLES. It is designed for students aged between 6 and 16 to measure their skills, knowledge and application in ICT, as defined by Cambridge International Examinations ICT Learning Objectives. Three assessment levels are offered: Initial Steps, Next Steps and On Track. Futurekids, with its reputation as the world’s leading provider of computer-literacy training for students, is the firstapproved examination center in Hong Kong, which launched the ICT assessments in April and May 2002. Sixty candidates of Futurekids had all passed the assessments and were the first group of students in the world who received the award. Up to now, over 3000students have achieved the certificate through Futurekids or in the progress of achieving it.
To provide more advanced courses for our students, Futurekids launched preparatory courses for the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) – Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in September 2008 and General Certificate of Education (International) Advanced Level (IAL) - Applied Information and Communication Technology in November 2010. IGCSE and IAL – Computer Science courses were also launched in November 2013.
The results students attained were very encouraging. From 2010 to now, 73 secondary students in total, trained by Futurekids, were awarded the Cambridge IGCSE – ICT or IGCSE – Computer Science Certificates. Over 90% of the students gained an A or higher grades. From 2011 to now, 16 secondary students in total, trained by Futurekids, were awarded the Cambridge GCE International A Level – Applied ICT or Computer Science Certificates. Over 90% of the students gained an A or higher grades. In June 2016, 2 Futurekids students attained the highest marks at A Level Applied ICT and Computer Science in Hong Kong andwere acclaimed with the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards in February 2017.

Dr. Chin earned his MBA degree in University of Stirling, UK, MSc Degree in ECommerce Management and MSc Degree in Information System Management from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In 2008, Dr. Chin achieved his DBA degree in Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is now aresearcher of Department of Management & Marketing in Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a visiting MBA Lecturer & Consultant-in-Residence Business Consulting Practicum of Faculty of Business and Economics in Hong Kong University.
