Louvain-la-Neuve (Brussels) - Belgium, 2nd December 2016 – IRIS, a member of the Canon Group, European leader in mobile scanning, intelligent document recognition, enterprise information management and optimisation of IT infrastructures, is pleased to announce the reinforcement of his Belgian management team by the appointments of two key people, Piet Tanghe and Geert Reynaerts.
In line with the international development of IRIS, Mr Tanghe and Mr Reynaerts’ task will be to strengthen IRIS’s position in Belgium as the leading provider of Information Management solutions and services.
Piet Tanghe has built up significant experience in sales management in the IT sector in Belgium. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to become an expert in selling hardware, software, consultancy and outsourcing services, working for leading suppliers such as Hitachi and IBM. He is also used to working with partners and service companies to create the appropriate synergy and the right team to win major IT projects.
Geert Reynaerts has acquired major experience on the client side, first as a programmer/analyst in the banking sector. Then he designed the network and server infrastructures for ECS customers. This strong start enabled him to take up the challenges of IS Operations Manager at Mobistar and then ICT Manager at EVS. Those solid experiences gave Geert the right talents to work on the supplier side at IRIS. Now in charge of the IRIS Delivery Service, his task will be to maintain the highest possible level of service quality.
Since its creation 30 years ago, IRIS has become a trusted and strong provider in assisting companies with their digital transformation.
