Once you have received permission from your teacher and from your parents, you may use the following directions to record a video using the webcam on your computer and YouTube’s Video Recorder. Remember that you must have written and rehearsed a script before doing any recording. Attempting to record without a script or rehearsals will just waste time in the long run!

- If an Adobe Flash Player Settings window pops up, select Allow and Remember. Then, click the Close button in the bottom right hand corner of the pop up window.
- Click the Ready to Record Button in the middle of your browser window. YouTube will start recording immediately, so be ready!
- When you are done recording, click the Red Square in the bottom left hand corner of the recording window.
