3rd HOVE (St Leonard’s) FAMILY CAMP

Friday 5th June - Sunday 7th June 2015

Hillside Scout Camp, Smalldole.

Dear Parents, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, brother’s sisters, and anyone else!!

We are writing to confirm the details of the forthcoming camp.

To arrive on: Friday 5th June from about 6pm

We will need help on Thursday night the4thto help set up the main part of the camp. Please meet down the scout hut at about 6.00 pm so we can load up the van, you can also set your tents up then if you wish too.

Please make sure that all your family has eaten an evening meal before they come to camp on Friday, we will provide a burger or hot dog.

When you park at Hillside Scout Camp Site, please be aware that we have to keep clear the access road for the emergency services if we need themand the 3rdHove accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to the vehicle or contents. All cars are left at the owner’s risk.

Please can you put your family name and mobile telephone number on the windscreen of the car incase we need to find you. Please use sheet attached.

Please remember that if you leave the site please make sure that your children are being looked after by another adult. The leaders are not at this camp to look after your children.

We will provide a burger on Friday night.

We will have our camp fire on the Friday Night.

All activities have been decided, but if you have a desire to run an activity, you are very welcome to, or offer your help to the adults who have already sorted out an activity.

You only need to bring your own tent;bedding, camp chairs, Plates, cutlery cups etc … all cooking and food will be provided for you.

We also ask for each family to bring a supply of cakes (preferable homemade) these are shared amongst everybody at break times.
