In order to adopt, you must satisfy the following requirements:
You must be at least 21 years of age with proper proof of age. Current identification must show your correct address and phone number.
You will be asked to make a 110.00 non-refundable adoption donationat the time of adoption.
Additional donations are greatly appreciated and will be used for the benefit of our rescue efforts.
With this donation, it will include the animal’s first shots, in older cats all are altered, shots, and tested
Your application must be approved before adoption can take place; this can take up to 72 hours to reply with your request. But normally will not take that long. We work on our own volunteering to go through them as fast as possible. Please make sure you fill in all phone numbers and addresses asked for, empty blanks can result in the denial of the application, Qualifications are Listed at the end of this Application.

We do our best to place the right animal in the right home; therefore, if we feel the animals and applicant are not compatible, we retain the right to deny this application. Applicant warrants that all information is correct and true and authorizes verification of application by Arlington Kittens and Cats and its agents.

Pre-Adoption Qualifications
  1. Must be 21 years or older.
  2. If you rent, landlord name and phone number must be furnished with written consent for the animal to be on your property.
  3. Must have I.D. indicating your present address.
  4. Must have knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household.
  5. Must be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper care for a pet.
  6. All cats must remain indoor-only cats
  7. Existing cats must be Aids/Leukemia tested, current on immunizations and indoor only.
  8. Existing dogs must be on Heart worm preventative and current on immunizations.
  9. When considering applicants we require certain standards be met, if you do not meet these standards, your application will be denied.
