INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID
The OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY OMBUDSMAN FOR THE VISAYAS, thru its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites all interested and legitimate contractors to apply for eligibility and submit bids for the supply of labor, tools/ equipment and necessary supplies in performing and rendering the following services for the Office of the Ombudsman (Visayas) located at the compound of the Department of Agriculture, Regional Field Office No. VII, M. Velez St., Guadalupe, Cebu City.

SECURITY SERVICES P1,624,111.92
for Ombudsman-Visayas (Cebu City) for FY 2013
Eight (8) Security Guards for seven (7) days
Two (2) Security Guards for five (5) days
In order to qualify for participation in the public bidding, the bidders should conform to the eligibility criteria as prescribed under Section 23 of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 9184, as per GPPB Resolution No. 03-2009, approved on 22 July 2009.
Eligibility requirements and bid forms, tender documents and request for quotation shall be available at the BAC Secretariat, Office of the Ombudsman (Visayas) c/o Atty. Eleanor R. Tayad-De Mira, Tel. No. 412-5440 local 316, within the government prescribed office hours, upon payment of non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P 2,500.00) only.

All particulars relative to the eligibility process, bidding, evaluation of bids, post-qualification and award of contract shall be governed by the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of R.A. 9184, otherwise known as the Government Procurement Reform Act, as per GPPB Resolution No. 03-2009.
The Bids and Awards Committee of the Office of the Ombudsman (Visayas), Cebu City, reserves the right to reject any of all bids, to waive any defect or informality therein and assumes no obligation whatsoever to compensate or indemnify any expenses that the bidder may incur in the preparation of bids and to accept the offer most advantageous to the government.
