Wedding Agreement Contract
Bride & Groom/CJ Photography
INTRODUCTION: This agreement is between wedding photographer Christina 
Ramge/CJ Photography and the Bride & Groom for the wedding date of 
______(Month/Day/Year). This agreement is between 
______(Bride), ______
(Groom) and their wedding photographer CJ PHOTOGRAPHY. Throughout this 
contract where you read CLIENT, we are referring to the party of the 
Bride and Groom. Throughout the contract where you read CJ Photography, 
we are referring to the company photographing your wedding event. The 
Client has requested and will be paying for the wedding package known 
as ______.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This agreement contains the entire understanding 
between CJ Photography and the CLIENT. It supersedes all prior and 
simultaneous agreements between the parties. The only way to add or 
change this agreement is to do so in writing, signed by all the 
parties. 
RESERVATION: Upon your signature, CJ Photography will reserve the time 
and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for that 
time and date. For this reason, the Reservation Deposit of 
$______.___ (Deposit) is non-refundable, even if date is 
changed or wedding cancelled for any reason, including acts of God, 
fire, strike, and extreme weather. The Reservation Deposit is to be 
paid at time of signing the contract. The Reservation Deposit is 
applied towards the contracted wedding photography package. Client 
understands and agrees that the entire amount owed for the wedding 
photography package described in the contract is due no later than (2) 
weeks before the Wedding Day. The remaining balance due is 
$______.__ (Remaining Balance) and is due no later than 
______. (Month/Day/Year). Client agrees if the balance is 
not paid by this time, CJ Photography will NOT photograph the Wedding 
Day described on the contract with no liability to CJ Photography and loss of Reservation Deposit by Client.
PRE-EVENT CONSULTATION: The parties agree to a pre-event consultation 
before the event date in order to finalize the actual shooting times, 
locations, and CLIENT'S request list (in writing) for specific 
photographs. The client will be responsible for, or have someone 
designated, to identify people of whom specific photographs are 
desired. The photographer will not be held accountable for not 
photographing desired people if there is no one to assist in 
identifying people or gathering people for photograph(s). The bride and 
or groom agree there will be a set time for the arrival of CJ 
Photography. CJ Photography is not held accountable for any missed 
photographs. During the Pre-Consultation we will go over a standard 
checklist of poses the Client wishes to have. However understand it is 
up to both parties to try and make a schedule where all shots can get 
their opportunity. The Bride and Groom also understand there will be a 
set time frame afterward for photographs that can not be obtained during the wedding including group shots. If the bride,
groom or family’s late arrival prevents this time frame window from occurring 
the photographer shall not be held liable for failure to take desired 
photographs. This Pre-Event Consultation to finalize locations, poses and designated times for portraits must happen at least 3 weeks prior to wedding day. Client is responsible to schedule appointment in advance with CJ Photography for this important consultation. 
COOPERATION: The parties agree to cheerful cooperation and 
communication for the best possible result within the definition of 
this assignment. CJ Photography is not responsible if key individual’s 
failure to appear or cooperate during photography sessions or for 
missed images due to details not revealed to CJ Photography. CJ 
Photography recommends that CLIENT designate an "event guide" to point 
out important individuals for informal or candid photographs to the 
photographer (see above) during the wedding that they wish to have 
photographed.
LOCATION & TIME: The ceremony will be held at ______. The photographer agrees to arrive at the wedding no later 
than ___:_____ and provide photography services for a period of ____ Hours. The reception will be 
held at ______(Reception Location). The CLIENT is to send directions to the all venues for CJ Photography. The CLIENT 
understands that for any additional hour of coverage needed by CJ 
Photography is $175 per hour. The CLIENT understands their time of coverage provided in 
their wedding package starts immediately upon first arrival of CJ 
Photography. The moment CJ Photography arrives is when your hours of 
coverage will begin. Your hours of coverage are continually going from 
that point on. 
SHOOTING TIME / ADDITIONS: The photography schedule and selected 
methodology are designed to accomplish the goals and wishes of the 
CLIENT in a manner enjoyed by all parties. CLIENT and CJ Photography 
agree that cheerful cooperation and punctuality are therefore essential 
to that purpose. Shooting commences at the scheduled start time.
HOUSE RULES: The photographer is limited by the guidelines of ceremony 
official or reception site management. The Client is responsible for getting any rules from the ceremony and reception venues regarding wedding photography. CLIENT agrees to accept the 
technical results of their imposition on the photographer. Negotiation 
with the officials for moderation of guidelines is Client’s 
responsibility; CJ Photography will offer technical recommendations 
only. CJ Photography respects all locations and their own house rules. 
DIGITAL NEGATIVES, PRINTS and COPYRIGHTS: The photographs, digital 
negatives or prints produced by CJ Photography are protected by Federal 
Copyright Law (all rights reserved) and may not be reproduced in any 
manner without CJ Photography explicitly written permission. The Client is not granted permission of selling photographs taken by CJ Photography for profitor trade under any circumstances. If Client does Purchase the CD with Digital Proofs, they may only use the wedding images for reproducing prints for family and friends only. If client decides to purchase the CD of Digital Proofs with the copyright and decides to put images on any personal website they must give credit to CJ Photography. 
WEDDING PROOFS: CJ Photography is shooting your event with digital 
photography. The Client understands the amount of wedding proofs 
received depends on many factors. The amount of proofs depends on how 
many poses wanted, time frame for portraits, depends on wedding package purchased, the size of the Bridal 
Party, the size of the families of the Bride and Groom as well as the schedule of timed poses. Be advised that you do not receive the original raw files from your 
wedding day. CJ Photography, with her own discretion will go through 
all raw images and pick the best portraits to become your wedding 
proofs on the disc.
MODEL RELEASE: The CLIENT hereby grants to CJ Photography and its legal 
representatives and assigns, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to 
use and publish photographs of the CLIENT or in which the CLIENT may be 
included, for editorial, trade, the official CJ Photography website, 
marketing for magazines and Bridal Shows, wedding websites for vendors,
Advertising and any other purpose and in any manner and medium; to alter the same without restriction; and to copyright the same. The CLIENT hereby releases CJ Photography and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.
EXCLUSIVITY / GUEST PHOTOGRAPHY: It is understood that CJ Photography 
will be the exclusive and only wedding photographer. The CLIENT 
acknowledges that they are responsible for notifying all of their 
guests that guest photography is not permitted at any time the 
professional photographer(s) are working. CJ Photography suggests that a 
separate notice be placed in the invitations. The formal photography 
time is for the express use of the studio to capture the formal wedding 
portraits. Because of time constraints and the need for subjects to 
give full attention to the professional photographer, guest photography 
cannot be permitted. CJ Photography will allow guests to take snapshots 
during the processional and recessional, during candid events at the 
church, and at the altar during the time the studio equipment is being 
packed up. Guest photography at the reception will be allowed at any 
time. In return for this consideration the studio insists no other 
guest photography take place when or where CJ Photography is working.
COMPLETION SCHEDULE: Digital processing and printing takes approximately 6-8weeks. CJ Photography will contact the client via phone when their wedding disc are ready for pick up. From 6 to 8 weeks after your event, you should have your wedding disc at that time; possibly longer when laboratory and bindery schedules are heavy especially during sales, summer, holiday events. Digital processing may take longer for those wedding packages that had more than 8 hours of coverage on wedding day. 
Creation of wedding enlargements is approximately 2-4 weeks and 
possibly longer when laboratory and bindery schedules are heavy. The processing and design for collages, albums, coffee table books, and productsrequire longer periods of time. Please be advised to ask CJ Photography how long it should be for your customized product to be 
finished. Client understands to ask CJ Photography to ask upon putting 
in order how long it is to be expected to get final result. Parent albums take up to 2-3 weeks. Coffee Album design takes 3-4 weeks, then takes additional 8-10 weeks to be processed, printed and mounted. Results may vary depending on size and time of order placement.
PAYMENTS: CLIENT agrees to at this time of signing the contract a non refundable deposit of $______.___ is needed to secure your wedding date and hold the package price for you. For this couple getting married on ______, their remaining balance of $______.____ is due no later than 14 days before their wedding date.
PURCHASE OF DIGITAL NEGATIVES: If the CLIENT desires a copy of the high 
resolution digital negatives, a CD can be purchased for $575.00. This 
High resolution CD will have their wedding proofs on it. Once the 
CLIENT has possession of CD, it is the CLIENT responsibility to be held 
accountable for their CD. CJ Photography is not held accountable for a 
loss, stolen or damaged CD. CJ Photography is not responsible for stolen or loss CD. Client will have to pay in full again if CD is lost. 
FILES ON ACCOUNT: CJ Photography will keep the files of your wedding 
for one full year after your wedding date. CJ Photography is no longer 
responsible and accountable for your wedding images after the first 
year. The CLIENT is responsible in full for their wedding images after 
the year. CJ Photography strongly suggest that the CLIENT purchases the 
digital negatives on file that way you will have your images for a 
longer period of time. We strongly suggest you take 110% care of your 
portraits and albums. CLIENT understands if they purchase the digital 
negatives, once received there are in full responsible for that file 
and their images.
SLIDESHOW PRESENTATIONS: If you or another vendor would like to use the photographs taken and provided by CJ Photography for a slideshow, you must give credit to CJ Photography. It is illegal to copyright our images and give credit to another outside party. If the Client does not respect the copyright restriction there will be a fee.
PENALTY FEES & CHARGES: There is a $75 charge on checks returned for 
any reason. There is a $75 late payment fee for any payments that are 
not postmarked or delivered to CJ Photography by the required date. 
There is a $50.00 late fee charge if you do not put your order in for your 
wedding package by 30 days after you receive your wedding proofs. We want to process your prints, and or albums as soon as possible and need the Client to put their order in as soon as they can to keep business moving and schedules timely.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL: The studio's discovery of new information, 
changes, or other factors tending to circumvent its policies could 
result in its withdrawal. Non-cooperation; changes of locations, 
facilities or times available; missed appointments; bad or returned 
checks, or late payments are examples of contributing factors. Should 
the studio initiate the withdrawal, all fees and deposits will be 
returned, excepting fair market value for all services/products already 
provided. In case of withdrawal, $75 an hour is billed for all 
photography services already provided, and $20 an hour is billed for 
all other services, consultations, and all driving time, rounded up to 
the nearest half-hour. If the studio withdraws -- the client will not 
be billed for any services in excess of their deposits (except if 
deposit was in form of returned checks).
LIMIT OF LIABILITY: In the unlikely event of severe medical, natural, 
or other emergency it could be necessary to retain a different 
photographer. CJ Photography will make every effort to secure a 
replacement photographer. If the situation should occur and a suitable 
replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to 
the return of all payments received for the event package. CJ 
Photography takes the utmost care with respect to exposure, 
transportation, and processing the photographs including using 
professional grade equipment and professional grade backup equipment. 
However, in the unlikely event those photographs have been lost, 
stolen, or destroyed for reasons within or beyond CJ Photography’s 
control, CJ Photography’s liability is limited to the return of all 
payments received for the event package. The limit of liability for a 
partial loss of originals shall be a prorated amount of the exposures 
lost based on the percentage of total number of originals
.
PERFORMANCE: The performance of this contract on behalf of CJ 
Photography shall be contingent upon acts of God, flood, fire, warfare, 
government laws or regulations, electrical failure, strikes by 
suppliers, and / or conditions beyond its control.
SPECIALS/DISCOUNTS: It is understood that CJ Photography gives the 
right to declare the specials or discounts for any wedding package 
price. Valid one discount per event. 
PRICE LOCK DOWN: CJ Photography locks down the wedding package you 
purchase when signatures are provided from both the Bride and Groom at 
the time of this contract. Attached to this contract will be the 
information for the wedding package you will be purchasing. If CJ 
Photography’s wedding packages change or go up in price you will be 
locked in to what you purchased the day this contract was signed. If Client or other party would like to purchase additional prints, they may order from our A La Carte List. Prices for A La Carte are subject to change to current status pricing at time of order.
ALBUMS & PRINTS: Once the client receives their wedding albums and or 
prints, the CLIENT is held accountable for their wedding items. CJ 
Photography is not held accountable for loss, damage, or stolen goods 
provided by CJ Photography. CJ Photography will work with the CLIENT as 
much as we can to make all parties happy but the CLIENT is held 
responsible to take special care for their wedding albums and or 
prints. If the Client has purchased the Wedding Bliss package, Client understands the album is designed by CJ Photography. The Client will be able to see the way the pages will appear in the book via using templates to show the client on the computer. 
SEVERABILITY: If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid 
or unenforceable under the law, the validity of this agreement as a 
whole shall not be affected, and the other provisions of the agreement 
shall remain in full force and effect.
AMENDMENTS: This contract has been freely negotiated and shall be 
recognized as the entirety of the agreement, and only those changes or 
modifications specifically placed in writing, attached, signed and 
dated by the CLIENT and the studio at the time of this contract’s 
signing shall be recognized as amendments to this contract.
CONTACT INFORMATION: If CLIENT contact information changes, may the 
CLIENT get a hold of CJ Photography to let them know of any changes. If 
phone number’s or addresses change, please contact CJ Photography with 
the current information so she may get in touch with you when needed. 
It is the Client’s responsibility to make sure CJ Photography has the 
Client’s updated and accurate contact information.
By signing below, both the Client and CJ Photography have read all seven
pages of this contract in full and agree to the rules and policies 
found within its content.
