NYSED sends notification letter to LEA School Superintendents of newly identified Improvement (year 1) schools regarding the School Quality Review Focused and Comprehensive processes. / October 2010
NYSED Liaisons follow up with newly identified Improvement, (year 1) Focused or Comprehensive schools about SQR process concerns/questions / October 2010
LEAs support newly identified Improvement (year 1) Focused or Comprehensive schools in completing and submitting Quality Indicators (QI) with supporting documentation to NYSED . / November 1 – November 30, 2010
NYSED reviews submitted Improvement (year 1) Focused or Comprehensive schools’ QI and supporting documentation. / December 1- December 10, 2010
SQR Team conducts on-site Focused and Comprehensive Reviews. / December 10, 2010 – January 31, 2011
SQR Team completes and submits written and electronic copy of report and completed Q I document to SED. / January 3 – February 25, 2011
NYSED liaison reviews and edits the report and sends the final report to all Team members, school, district, SED Designated Representative, and post to the internet. / January 3 – March 25, 2011
