6. OLD BUSINESS

A. * Ordinance No. 941 – Medical Marijuana Collective Gardens (First Reading) – Deputy Mayor Holland

Motion: Move to approve an ordinance of the City of Orting, Washington, relating to land use and

zoning, adopting zoning restrictions on the cultivation of medical cannabis (marijuana) for personal use and in collective gardens, describing the land use impacts triggering such restrictions, establishing separation and distance requirements, establishing procedures for enforcement of violations including abatement of cannabis nuisances, adding a Chapter to Title 13 of the Orting Municipal Code.

7. NEW BUSINESS

A. *Ordinance No. 944 – Washington State Soldiers Home Sewer Contract – Councilmember Drennen

Motion: Move to approve Ordinance No. 944, an ordinance of the City of Orting, Washington, relating to

sanitary sewer fees; amending OMC 9-2B-1 to define measurement of flow; amending OMC 9-2C-5

authorizing sanitary sewer agreements to meter wastewater flows; providing for severability; and

establishing an effective date.

B. *Sewer Service Agreement – Councilmember Drennen

Motion: Move to approve the Sewer Service Agreement with the Washington State Department of

Veterans Affairs (Orting Soldiers Home).

C. *Setback Levee Lobbyist Scope and Budget – Councilmember Drennen

Motion: Move to approve an extension of the contract with Lobbyist Shawn Bunney for an additional

six months.

8. RECESS COUNCIL MEETING

A. Motion: Move to recess Council Meeting for a meeting of the Transportation Benefit District Board.

9.  TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT DISTRICT BOARD MEETING
