April 27, 2010 (IRVINE, CA) – The first winner of the 7th Annual Irvine Dream Stakes will have an extra $10,000 in spare change come Friday.
The winning ticket will be pulled at a small public gathering in front of the Union Bank at the Quail Hill Village Shopping Center in Irvine at 10:30 a.m.
The home raffle celebrates the best of the OC lifestyle. The grand prize is a new condo at 3000 The Plaza, Orange County’s most luxurious high rise. Other prizes include a year of free rent at The Park at Irvine Spectrum Center, the region’s hottest new apartment community, and a vacation stop at all six of OC’s most exclusive oceanfront resorts.
Pulling the winning ticket for the $10,000 “early bird” prize will be Orange County’s leading fashion and dining writer, Greer Wylder.

Founded in 1996, the Irvine Public Schools Foundation has raised millions to help support programs that would have otherwise disappeared because of budget cuts. The foundation’s efforts have helped to fund fine arts, math science, music, counseling and after school and summer enrichment programs. The foundation also succeeded in keeping class sizes small in Irvine schools as well as to provide extra money for nurses, health clerks and health education.
