The Sacrament of Baptism is administered on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. Arrangements must be made in advance at the rectory.

Arrangements must be made at the rectory at least six months before the date selected.
Sick Calls
Please call the rectory in an emergency. Sick calls should not be deferred until the person is unconscious or in imminent danger of death. Parishioners will be placed on the Communion Call list upon request. Notify the rectory when there is serious sickness in the family or when someone is admitted to the hospital.

This week’s pro-life rose is dedicated to the Blessed Mother in memory of Angelica Lombardo.
The Rosary is prayed each day at 7:40 AM before the 8:00 AM Mass. Morning Prayer is prayed each day after Mass. PLEASE JOIN US.
FAMILY ROSARY
What a great way of spending time with your family by coming to our Family Rosary held on the first Tuesday of each month. Weather permitting the rosary will be held in Mary’s Garden. at 7:00 P.M. Please join us on Tuesday, June 1st .

SCRIP PROGRAM
Scrip is sold during the weekend in the front lobby of the school from 4:45 to 6:15 on Saturdays and from 9:15 until. 11:30 on Sundays. Scrip is also sold at the rectory during the week from 9:00 to 3:00 on Mondays through Thursdays.

~~~Our annual retreat will be held at Holy Redeemer on June 2 at 9:30 A.M. and will be conducted by Monsignor Conahan. After a light breakfast, Monsignor will speak with us and we will have an opportunity for confession, after which mass will follow in the chapel. We are trying something new this year. We are meetingevery Monday evening at 7PM behind the Rectory (weather permitting) to spend just one hour weeding and picking up any litter in the parish gardens.All are welcome to show up - you need onlybring your weeding tools and garden gloves - we'll have an ample supply of lawn and leaf bags. SCHOOL NEWS
On Friday, May 21st the National Junior Honor Society members sponsored an Alex’s Lemonade Stand for the school community. Each grade was able to purchase and enjoy ice-cold lemonade as well as home baked goods, candy and water ice. The proceeds will be donated to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which is committed to finding a cure for all childhood cancers.

CONFIRMATION CLASS OF 2010
The Archdiocese has issued a change in the date and Bishop Celebrant for Confirmation in 2010. As soon as we receive the new information, the parents will be notified in the Church bulletin and Emailed. Thank you for your kind understanding with this change.
Feast of Corpus Christi – June 6
On the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, we celebrate the solemn feast of the Eucharist, the Body and Blood of Christ. We ask all the children who made their First Holy Communion on April 17 to dress in their First Communion outfits and all those who were confirmed in October, 2009 to wear their Confirmation robes in this procession. May we show by our prayerful presence in this procession our deep gratitude to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for His gift of Eucharist and our desire to bring His love, His presence to the world.
ATTENTION PREP FAMILIES:
Your children’s Grade Evaluations are in the process of being mailed out. If you have not sent in your Re-registration Form for 2010/11, please do so immediately so we will have sufficient materials and textbooks for the new school year. It is required that you be registered in Immaculate Conception Parish for your child to attend PREP Classes. The tuition fee is $110.00 per child and may be paid in full or in installments. Please return the Registration Form with payment by mail or to the rectory in care of Nancy Grabowski.
NEW REGISTRATIONS:
Any family who is new to the Religious Education Program this year is required to call the Parish Religious Education Office at 215-885-5586 to register your child/ren in our program. The Religious Education Office will be open during the months of June and August. A Baptismal Certificate is required if your child was not baptized at Immaculate Conception.
EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, already commissioned for service by the parish, are invited to additional service at Lafayette Redeemer, St. Joseph’s Manor and Holy Redeemer Hospital. If you are not presently an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, and have the necessary qualifications and the recommendation of your pastor for this ministry, and would like to assist, training and commissioning will take place at Holy Redeemer.
