Thank you for participating in a race that supports Warren Township High School and the Gurnee Rotary leadership programs.

Your race packet contains everything you need for race day:

-Race bib with timing chip plus a tear off for gear check and a ride on the Raging Bull

-Pins to affix the bib to your shirt

-Blue Devil Horns– affix to your hair, hat or headband

-Course map

-Admission ticket to enjoy the day following the race at Great America

Agenda for the day:

7 a.m.Main entrance off of Grand Avenue opens for racers and spectators. Gear check and registration open for any race day registrants.

7:45 Line up at the starting line and pick your corral. A for runners and B for walkers.

7:55 Toll plaza CLOSES to race traffic

7:55 Welcome remarks and National Anthem

8:00 Race begins

9:00 Course clear, Raging Bull closed to racers

9:15 Kids’ one mile dash begins

9:30 Medal ceremony

9:30 Six Flags parking lot opens to guests and payment is required.

10:00 Six Flags Great America opens

Spectators:

Your friends and family are encouraged to participate in the race by cheering you on! Have them bring noise makers and plenty of energy to help you get to the finish line with the fastest time. Spectators can purchase tickets to get into the park in advance at There is a $19.76 ticket available ONLINE ONLY.

Tickets will also be available for purchase race day at regular prices – $66.99 adult, $46.99 children under 48” and children ages two and under are free. Spectators will be admitted into the park using the north side Hurricane Harbor entrance so they can cheer along the route inside the park.

Entrance and Parking:

Enter Great America using the Grand Avenue entrance.Parking is FREE before 7:55 a.m.

Park your car using the north parking lot.

Gear Check:

Gear Check will be located south of the start/finish line. Tear off the bottom number off your bib and affix your number to your gear bag using the pins provided. Hand the marked bag to one of our volunteers. After the race, you will need your bib to retrieve your bag, so hold on to you bib until you have your gear returned.

Race Corrals:

There will be two corrals for racers. Corral A will be for runners and corral B for walkers. Please line up promptly at 7:45 a.m. in the appropriate corral.

Restrooms:

Restrooms are located east of the start/finish line at the front gate and west of the start/finish line in Riptide Bay.

Showers:

Post-race showers are available in Hurricane Harbor. Please use the north Hurricane Harbor entrance following the race to shower and refresh to enjoy the rest of the day at Great America.

Ride the Raging Bull:

Racers can ride the Bull during the race atmiletwo or following the race. A volunteer will collect the tag affixed to the bottom of your bib for entrance to the ride. Raging Bull will close at 9 a.m.If you are riding post-race, promptly return to the ride queue following your race with your bib and tear off ticket.

Water, Food, Medals and Blankets:

Water will be available at the start/finish line and at mile one and mile two of the race.

Food will be available post-race at the start/finish line.

Each racer will receive a medal upon crossing the finish line.

Blankets will be available at the finish line for racers to keep warm post-race and stay for the closing medal ceremony. Special medals awarded to first, second and third place finishers in age category along with grand prizes for win, place andshow overall.
