It’s time to start thinking about your EQC Grant Request! Attached is the grant request application. The deadline for submission is Friday, October 21, 3016.
What is EQC?
Enrichment for Quality Classrooms (EQC) is a committee of parent volunteers within the Shorewood PTSA. EQC raises money separately from PTSA to provide grants to Shorewood High School teachers and staff for the purchase of teaching aids, books, equipment, community experiences, and other resources that are not funded due to federal, state, and local budget shortfalls. EQC-funded resources directly enrich the classrooms of Shorewood, and therefore the learning experience of our students.
EQC has been raising money to support academic enrichment at Shorewood High School for 21 years and has granted over $373,000. For 2015-2016, EQC was able to fulfill $12,598 in grant requests from 10 Shorewood departments. Please consider how EQC can support you in your academic endeavors and submit a grant application!
