Subject: This work instruction describes the process for sequencing Sunvisors.

General Requirements:

Special Requirements:
· 1st Piece Inspection Form(s): The general guidelines as illustrated on the form must be followed
1) Retrieve commit sheet for the visor container from the S-11 printer location.2) Blue totes are for left-hand visors, green totes are for right-hand visors.
3) Remove old tote labels and old commit sheets.
4) Enter the appropriate information on the log sheet. Example: date, dolly #, commit start and ending commit numbers.
5) Place new tote label into pouch.
6) Start with sequencing visor totes.
7) Before picking a part out of a container, verify a 1st Piece Inspection has been done. If it has not, verify the container has been placed in the proper spot and place a “1st Piece Inspection Form” in container.
8) Begin the parts picking process with the first part listed on the commit sheet.
9) Place visor in slot position. Place the visor connectors for the odd numbered slot positions to face towards the right side of tote. The even numbered slot position the visor connectors to face towards the left side of tote. (See Figure 2)
10) For each commit look for part damage. If any damage is discovered, report to the BC supervisor and place into the designated quarantined area.
11) Conduct blind audit according to Blind Audit Work Instruction (WI-24) See Figure 1 for part identification. All sunvisors must be labeled: white labels for Mustang Visors and yellow for Mazda Visors. All left-hand labels should say LH and all right-hand labels should say RH.
12) Fold Commit Sheet vertically and place in first slot with sunvisor.
13) Totes will be labeled 1-30 for visors.
14) A total of two containers must be packed for visors each with their own commit sheets.
15) After 1st Commit Sheet is completed repeat steps 4 – 11. After 2nd Commit Sheet for Visors is completed go to Step 16.
16) When totes of visors (colored tote) are completed, place sequenced totes onto headlight dolly. NOTE: Blue totes belong on blue dolly, green totes belong on green dolly. The commit range for the visors should match that of the headlamps.
17) Report any stock shortages to supervisor.
18) Maintain a clean workstation area / Pictures
