There were fourteen members of the public in attendance.

17.01 ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN

Councillor Sandler proposed, and Councillor Barlow seconded, Councillor Farthing. As there were no other nominations, Councillor Farthing was elected as Chairman of the Planning Committee.

17.02 ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN

Councillor Sunger proposed, and Councillor Hodds seconded, Councillor Scrutton. As there were no other nominations, Councillor Scrutton was elected as Vice Chairman of the Planning Committee.

17.03 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE (3)

Apologies were received from Councillors Richard Alvin, Kewal Chana and Alan Lion.

17.04 OTHER ABSENCES (0)

NOTED that there were no other apologies.

17.05 MINUTES

The Minutes of the Planning Committee which took place on 11th May 2017 were CONFIRMED.

17.06 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

It was NOTED that if a planning issue is for discussion at both Parish and District level and Councillors sit on both authorities it was made clear that the Councillor/s will reconsider the matter at District level, taking into account all relevant evidence and representations at the District level. Therefore, the Councillor/s cannot be bound in any way by any view expressed at the Parish level or by the decisions of this Committee.

Members NOTED that there were no declarations of interest.

17.07 REPRESENTATIONS FROM MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC

Members NOTED that there were six representations from members of the public to speak on Planning Application numbers EPF/3367/16, EPF/3386/16, EPF/0973/17, EPF/1094/17 and EPF/1123/17, at the invitation of the Chairman, the representatives spoke on the aforementioned applications.
