Unit Statement:The student will talk about household chores, respond and ask for a service, and describe objects and shapes. The student will use the Subjonctif with different expressions.

Essential Outcomes: (must be assessed for mastery)

  1. The Student Will extend the vocabulary about various chores and activities around the home.
  1. TSW form and use correctly le Subjonctifwith regular and irregular verbs.
  1. TSW learn several expressions requiring the Subjunctive mood.
  1. TSW know how to ask others to help, and to give excuses if it’s not possible.
  1. TSW describe objects: their shape, dimensions, weight, and construction.
  1. TSW participate in discussions or debates on one of topics selected by the teacher.
  1. TSW create a visual project related to the essential outcomes.
  1. TSW make a written production with the grammar and the vocabulary learnt in the unit.

Introduced/Practice Outcomes:

  1. The Student Willlearn how French young people earn spending money by performing different services and what is called ‘bricolage’.
  2. TSW revise adjectives and other descriptors.
  3. TSW read and discuss the story La couverture.
