The 2015 ANTA Conference committee would like to formally invite you to attend the 37th Annual ANTA Conference to be held in Perth from the 10th to 12th of September 2015.

The Association of Neurophysiology Technologists of Australia Inc was established to further the needs of individuals employed in Hospitals and private rooms. Its aims include promoting further education and skills by providing a network of professional support while increasing public knowledge in Clinical Neurophysiology. ANTA Conferences provide an excellent opportunity for Neurophysiology Technologists to meet, network and discuss interesting topics and cases being presented by Specialists, Researchers and fellow Technologists.

Enclosed is a delegate package, containing an overview of the Conference together with a Registration form. We have also included an invitation for members to present at the Conference or contribute as a chair person.

The 2015 ANTA Conference will be held from 10th - 12th September in Perth. Note: The conference venue has moved so please take note when booking. It is now located next door to the Adina Apartment Hotel on the map.

Conference Venue

Located near the Swan River in the business and shopping district, The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is located 25 minutes from Perth International Airport (PER). Discover a variety of restaurants, bars and nightclubs; take advantage of the shopping in the city centre, or take a relaxing stroll along the Swan River; all within walking distance.

There are many fantastic hotels and venues to suit all budgets. There are a range of hotels and apartments, many within walking distance. The closest being the Parmelia Hilton and Adina Apartment Hotels. Please book your accommodation early as Perth hotels tend to fill very quickly.

Transport

The Perth Convention Centre has a large car park attached. It is also situated across the lobby from the Perth Bus Station and Train station (Esplanade stop).

From the airport, taxis are available to take you directly to the Parmelia Hilton or surrounding hotels. The journey normally takes ~25 minutes with a typical cost of around $50.

Some hotels provide a shuttle service directly to the hotel. Rates are dependant on the hotel chosen.

Car hire is also available from the airport with the Parmelia Hotel charging $55 per 24 hour valet parking in a secure undercover car park. Self parking is also available nearby and hourly rates apply.

Registration

Registration for the Conference will run from 8.00 – 8.30am on Thursday 10th September and 8.15-8.30am on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September.

Payment can be made by electronic funds transfer, direct deposit or cheque. Please use your initial and last name as your reference number so we can match electronic payments with registration forms. A quick email stating you have paid by electronic funds transfer or sent payment would also be appreciated to assist in the payment matching process.

Scientific Program and Awards

Submissions are invited for presentations and posters. We are keen to involve many Neurophysiology Technologists in the scientific program so please put your hand up and share some of your knowledge, experience or reflections with your fellow Technologists.

As with all previous Conferences, there will be a number awards presented.

Alongside the Conference scientific program, social events provide an excellent opportunity for ANTA members to mingle and network. They are a great way to meet new people or simply catch up with old friends.
