4.  Matters arising.
(i) Laura Hatch and Anne Higgins reported back on the site visit to Landhurst – Manor House.
(ii) It was noted that the new drive to Landhurst Wood appears to be a completely newly excavated track whereas the Council had understood that the previous farm track would be used. There is concern from the neighbours who overlook the new entrance in regards to flooding and tree loss. The Clerk was asked to notify Wealden to investigate.

5.  Correspondence.
The WDC affordable housing consultation document was highlighted.
The recent local discussion on the need for planning meetings when there was nothing contentious was briefly discussed. It was discussed that the planning meeting in May might be included in the Annual Parish Council meeting.

6.  Consideration of planning applications submitted

Application No. WD/2015/0138/F

Location: FAIRCOTE HALL & STUD, CHUCK HATCH, HARTFIELD, TN7 4EX

Description: CONVERSION OF EXISTING BARN TO NEW DWELLING IN REPLACEMENT FOR AUTHORISED CONVERSION OF OLD DAIRY BUILDING TO RESIDENTIAL USE UNDER APPLICATION WD/1989/3700/F.
The Parish Council strongly objects to this application to replace an expired planning application with this new application. The barn in question was agreed for agricultural and then equestrian use and it is unacceptable that it should be converted to residential use.

It is too far removed from the current residential properties and would set the precedence for further residential development and presumably replacement hay storage would also be required on this a site which has extensive planning history.

Furthermore the site is adjacent to the roman road and the applicants have shown little consideration in the past to conserving this ancient monument.
