Are you wanting to involve students in collaborative literacy activities that are authentic and constructive? Then this workshop is for you! Participants in this workshop will discuss ways students and teachers can create and use virtual libraries and wikis through sites like PB works and Moodle. Participants will see how to build a virtual library through viewing examples and being involved in creating and adding to a virtual library during the session. The goal of this session is for participants to see how virtual libraries and wikis can be used as a form of collaborative research, integrating reading and writing processes, through the online collaboration these new literacies offer.
