RESERVATION PROCEDURE

Groups that wish to reserve Campus Recreation facilities and/or fields for activities/events complete and submit a Facility/Field Reservation Request Form. Requests may be submitted no more than one year in advance. Campus Recreation programs are offered on a semester basis, and they receive priority in the scheduling of facilities and fields. This may create a delay in responding to your reservation request, in which case you will be informed by email or telephone. Requests that cannot be acted on immediately will be considered in order according to the date they are received. See the Campus Recreation Fee Schedule for rental fees and other charges.

AGREEMENT FOR USE OF FIELDS/FACILITIES

Our group agrees to abide by all Clemson University and Campus Recreation rules and regulations governing use of the reserved facilities/fields. We understand that the Department of Campus Recreation reserves the right to cancel reservations when departmental officials feel such action is warranted to ensure the safety/welfare of participants and/or to protect playing areas from destruction (When possible, at least 24 hours notice will be given.) We understand that upon the first sign of lightning or the issuance of a tornado warning, all outdoor activities are to cease immediately and participants instructed to seek shelter.

Our group understands that reserved facilities/fields are to be left clean (All trash picked up and disposed of in the receptacles provided) and in good condition, and that they are not to be altered in any manner without permission from the Department of Campus Recreation. We accept responsibility for any expenses incurred for damages resulting from our use of these facilities/fields. Also, we acknowledge that the Department of Campus Recreation is not responsible for personal injury or loss or damage to personal property that may occur as a result of our use of these facilities/fields.

Our group understands that reservations are accepted on a first-come, first served basis with priority given to Campus Recreation programs; and that unless other arrangements are made, payment of any administrative/rental fees is due at least two weeks in advance of the scheduled activity/event or at the time of reservation for reservations that are approved with less than two weeks notice (Note: Groups will be invoiced for any other charges, such as custodial charges, for failure to clean up properly or damage costs.)
