IMPORTANT

You should read these conditions carefully and if in agreement, sign your acceptance thereof.

Conditions of Boarding

General

1. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

2. Cats must be transported to and from the kennels in a secure cat carrier (cardboard carriers are not appropriate).

3. Completing this form and returning it to us with your £20 non-refundable deposit for each pet is requested to confirm your booking (For bookings of 3 days or more) The remaining balance is payable on arrival to the kennels. Reservations will only be held for 7 days while awaiting the return of this booking form.

4. We accept cash or cheque only; please note cheques are only accepted for boarding of 7 days or more. Cheques are made payable to Spire Ridge Boarding Kennels. A receipt will be sent via email (if details provided) or by post, confirming the booking has been accepted.

5. All dogs/cats will be charged for the day of entry and the day of departure irrespective of the time of delivery and collection. No refund shall be given if dogs/cats are collected earlier than the agreed booking period.

6. Whilst every care and precaution is taken to ensure that dogs/cats left with us are kept safe and free from injury or illness, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, theft, injury, or death of a dog or cat, or any possessions left with the animal.

7. If a dog or cat is not collected within 30 days of the scheduled collection date, and if no contact can be made with the owner, we reserve the right to assume ownership and sell the dog/cat or send to a suitable agency for re-homing. Any monies due will be kept by us to cover additional costs incurred.

8. Owners will remain responsible for full boarding fees until the dog/cat has be re-homed or collected by its owner.

9. All dogs/cats boarding with us are fully insured against death, loss, theft and Vet fees. Please note our insurance does not cover pre existing conditions. (Ask for details)

10. No dog or cat will be accepted for boarding without the signed acceptance of these conditions.

11. Sharing can only be undertaken where dogs/cats are from the same household. Owners requiring their dogs/cats to share accommodation agree that Spire Ridge will not be held responsible if the dogs/cats sustain injury as a result of sharing. By signing this form you are confirming you are the owner of the named dogs/cats, and give your consent to the sharing of boarding accommodation.

Health

1. Owners must confirm that dogs are vaccinated against Parvo Virus, Distemper, Hepatitis and Leptospirosis, before commencement of boarding.

2. Owners must confirm that cats are vaccinated against Feline Infectious Enteritis and Cat Flu (Feline Herpesvirus and Feline Calicivirus), before commencement of boarding.

3. Dogs/Cats without vaccination protection will not be admitted AND in line with our cancellation policy, the full cost of the booking will be charged.

4. Owners confirm that any Dog/Cat left for boarding are healthy and free from injury and authorise Spire Ridge to contact your veterinary practice for confirmation of current vaccination details or existing medical conditions if required.

5. Owners accept that we will use the services of a qualified veterinary surgeon should your Dog/Cat require veterinary treatment for illness or injury whilst staying with us. All costs incurred shall be payable on collection of your Dog/Cat.

6. We reserve the right to refuse admission if any dog or cat displays noticeable health or behaviour problems.
